fixed, im back in the admin panel

dont appear to have that option, in the admin panel....though it is saying its the latest version. Only have an option for email templates.

does anyone know what files control how 'latest links' and 'top links' etc are displayed on the site ?

 

what im thinking is maybe it was trying to write to some config files whilst i was out of space on the server, so those files could also be 0kb

 

Check the permissions on the Temp folder.

 

what should they be ?

 

also can you check for me the correct permissions for:
_vti_pvt

at the moment its 750 where the rest seem to be 755

set the permission to 777. It should be in the read me files.

To be honest, you would be as well deleting the entire site and installing from scratch. There are so many possibilities given the out-of-disk issue that it could be anything.

Having said that, have you checked the site using the default template? I know there can be issues with older templates running on v3.1.

 

yea, uploading it doesn't always work. You'll need a fresh start...An0n is here so i'm relieve for duty

Resolution was just to reinstall the template itself

 

Anon 5.0 has done it again.

 

as soon as i looked at it i knew exactly what it was. just 1 file.

before he could send me the full back i found the template uploaded the file and everything was fixed lol

had to fix his permissions and clear out some cache too.
