Google has reviewed my site for compliance! OH CRAP!

Firstly, I got an email like this.

Okay, I removed the images beside the ads. The next day, another email came in.

I told them that I am willing to take out the ads that they "think" is violating the compliance. Then they reply with more links such as "retrieve-serial-numbers-or-cd-keys-from-your-computer". I told them that I just found a freeware that is able to get back your serial number or cd key if you've forgotten. They replied with that we found many pages on your site with content detailing hacks, and distributing copyrighted software with cracks and serial numbers.

They are ASSUMING that the article contains serial number or cd key but it's just an educational article where I believed it can help people!

Why are they being so unfair and so judgmental without even reading the whole thing? I am earning my living through Adsense and now they've disabled ad-serving to my site. What should I do not? I tried signing up for YPN but no reply :(

I have around 3000 RSS subscribers, 20000 unique hits per day and 20 million hits per month. I've worked so hard everyday for more than a year to earn a comfortable living from Google and they can just close it up. I am so stuck right now unsure of what to do...

try to appeal like 3 times. they rarely reconsider these, but there's no harm in trying. if you live in the US, try YPN. If not, try others like Adbrite, TribalFusion, FastClick, etc.

I am trying real hard for them to enable the ads back. Replying them everyday whenever I get their email.

wow 20 million hits per month is superb !!!

sad to hear about your case, but my advice is not to put all the rice on 1 bowl, which means is always good to have other source of income (back-up) besides adsense.;)

azizny, I don't know man... To me, it's OK.
    But not for Google.

network, yeah, worked pretty hard for it :)
I do have a text-link-ads and direct-link-ads but it's very low paying. Need something like Google for main income.

I've signed up a bunch of other advertising companies. I heard IntelliTXT is OK. What you guys think?

Thats not exactly true. Google DO take notice and care about appeals. Of course you'll have to send them an email in a professional manner. If you send them an email with harsh words or incorrect grammar spelling, they'll just ignore your appeal.

So make sure before sending any email to Google, make sure you proofread it. If English is not your main language then I suggest you get someone who is fluent in English to proofread it for you. Show to them that you really want to make an honest business with them.

Also keep emailing them on a daily or weekly basis with new information for each new email you send. This will help you get your account back ;)

    That's what I thought.

But Google doesn't take the time to read the whole article.

As long as the topic has crack, hack, serial numbers... a warning letter will come sooner or later.
