Half of DP is crying because of VISTA...

 

Yeah, noticed that Vista woes is going around here in DP. Anyway, have to live with it. I checked a lot of major PC manufacturers websites and they feature Vista only, no more XP :-( .... dang ! too many Vista versions ...

 

Is vista even worth having a look at?
Im planning to scrap windows all together and move to the mac.

 

What is the relation between Windows Vista and that site ?
Why does your browser gets closed when you open that site ?
I think there must be some problem in your OS or Browser because it is working fine with me for both IE7 and Firefox 2.0.2

once SP1 comes out in about 6 months it should be better...but I am holding out till then...

Hey...it is working ABSOLUTELY FINE man...no problems...at least in the latest versions of both the browsers...I think u shud install Java...Then ur problem will go!!

 

Working fine for me - Windows Vista FF.

 

I waited about a minute and nothing came up. Site didnt load.

 

There have been mixed reviews about vista. Some say its poor, some say its awesome. I'm gonna have to check it out soon.

 

I have used Vista for a month and uninstalled it after a few games failed to run properly. I didn't run into any serious performance problems except for some driver issues.

It may take around 5-6 months for Vista to be on par with XP in terms of performance.
