One of my sites that was #9 two months ago and which bumped up to #5 about 3 weeks ago has now bumped again and is at #3.

I do not expect it to stay. Most likely, some filter will come along and reduce the value of my newer links and I'll fall once again. But, if I wind up at #5 or higher, I'll be happy!

Mobilebay, I've noticed through many of these threads we're both in the same boat. Some of my sites that are over a year old disappeared from the SERPs about Feb 4th and still haven't recovered. It's happened before but I've bounced back quick, within days, but this one's been almost a month now.

Disappeared for three days last week before I returned 260 places better for a keyword I've been targeting for weeks

I have had the same problem. I have a new site that has over 200 pages indexed but only a hand full of them were not supplemental. A couple of days ago a lot of these pages that were supplemental came out and we picked up some good rankingsa for those pages keywords....Well today either the DCs have rolled back the data or something because those pages went back in to supplemental and we have lost those rankings.

I know the reason the pages are supp, its a new site only live for about 6 weeks now. At this rate I may need to buy some Rogaine to help replace the hair I am pulling out

I got totally hammered. I went from page 1 to nowhere in a day. Several of my sites that were doing very well have disappeared. Someone had noticed that the Google and MSN results looked very similar very recently. I am glad I am not the only one that noticed that. I am going to ride the wave for a couple of weeks and see what happens. I was just getting ready for a big update anyway.....

This time its already been 8 days now. On previous 3 ocassions it was a max of 4 days. I can understand if a site is banned, but you should be able to get traffic if your are fully indexed.

I thought SERPs update is a continuous and evolving process! One of my site got down from 4th to 5th and another went down from 195th to 307th:D within few hrs although I have been building links for this site steadily over last few weeks. In the meantime the keword competition also got increased significantly:mad: for the site!
As i have ben monitoring my sites-- I guess the circle for each sites comes around roughly one big movement per week--bcoz I think not all sites are updated at a time:D
