Accidental Click - No Reply From Google

Discussion in 'AdSense' started by Err0r, Feb 28, 2007.

Yesterday I accidentally clicked one of my ads, and immediately emailed Google AdSense support.

It has been more than 10 hours with no reply and I'm getting worried.

I've got more than the minimal payout amount and I heard that Google likes to ban those like me... :(

Can anyone more experienced provide some input?

IT's only been 10 hours, wait 48 hours atleast.

Don't worry about the ban, you notified them and it was just one click.

    Should be calm. ^_^

I think at least you already show that your are not click intentionally.

You already emailed to AdSense Team, that will present and protect you enough.

By the way, please come back again and tell us, what's going after that, after you got GG repli, ok

    Be support, good luck

I clicked mine twice accidentally on two separate occasions. One time it took ~12 hours to respond, and once it was > 24. Just be patient :)

Google Adsense Support Team will adjust your earnings for that accidental click(s). If you're already report the case to Google Adsense Support Team... they won't disable your account for that.... trust me and be honest!

Still no reply, and I accidentally clicked again while optimizing ads. Sigh.

    That's not good..
If this occurs a lot.. what I would suggest is to log into a different IP (ISP) while editing your site so it doesn't appear that you clicked on your own ads. Just a suggestion though, it's better to no accidently click them at all.

Don't worry about it, really. If you are a genuine publisher, they will not mind at all if you notify them. If anything, it is a good thing that you are showing them your concerns for invalid clicks.

You clicked on your ads, while viewing your site on the web, and you were optimizing? When I 'optimize' my placement, it is done in a program like Dreamweaver. I can't click on my ads when I am using the program.

Don't worry about it, I accidentally clicked mine a few times as I've had Adsense for a long time.

Get Firefox, download Adblock Plus add-on, and then have it on whenever you update so you'll never accidentally click anything.

When i like to visit some ad. I just do it. Its not with an intention to earn money, and google as the way to give money. It will always not give you the amount you actually earn! :)

Calm down...10 hours is nothing. It usually takes Google three days for them to answer my emails.
I've clicked my own ads a couple times, also, and I emailed them about it and everything was fine after that.

How many times do you have to "integrate" them? Do it, then move on.
