You need to know exactly what operations are considered treading water, and which are swimming forward. Outsource whatever is treading water, and swim forward yourself. Moreover, I think you greatly explained the importance of planning for businesses. Planning is key to crystallizing goals, setting priorities, and maintaining control. Without all that, you cannot succeed. Planning is conceptually rather simple, implementing it is far from easy. And that's where webmasters and other entrepreneurs have to adopt.
