I agree that it needs work now.. Mainly other companies like nvida and other graphic card comps still need to release drivers. I wouldn't upgrade, but when I get a new PC, next year, it'll have vista, or it will be a MAC
not really, Anyways I'll vote for IT SUCKS as it is still new and many softwares are not compatible with it SO if we could wait another 8-9 months and then see this thread people will say IT ROCKS!
Microsoft makes me so angry, that's why I switched to Linux, now I don't have any problems, problem solved
Well microsoft is crap so anything new from a crap company you expect to be anygood ? I use Xp and Linux (if they wherent some softs i use evry day / i can do only with linux but since i don't have that on my lunux OS i must have Windows this virus with graphic design interface instaled )
I think Vista is really good. I have just bought 2 copies of Home Premium. All my proggies and hardware work fine without a hitch. Really big improvement over XP.
well i think its a good improvement but not revolutionary. unlike when xp was release, I was so excited to try it out. When vista was released, Id tell myself Id stick with xp for quite some time.
The vista has been released with many problems.. they should of delayed the launch until they resolve the problems.. not launch it and make people spit at them...
I have to say that Vista has a pretty nice style. I like the scheme of it but I haven't got it yet so I'm not sure how good it is yet.
Personally I like it, i think it has some good things on it but it certainly doesn't meet all the hype that got generated by it
what's it on? you knew the min recommended requirements was one of these right? http://www.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/xpsdt_710h2c?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19 Intel® CoreTM 2 Extreme X6800 Factory Overclocked to 3.46GHz 4GB Dual-Channel DDR2 SDRAM 667MHz
I heard that it can't run Half-Life 2 correctly. If I can't play my favourite game on it, it can go die. I'll get it in 6 months to a year when all the issues are sorted out.
I like it but have had some compatibility issues with the following: Tiger Woods 07 Golf HP Laserjet 1000 Driver Outlook 2007 is really slow in downloading POP3 emails.
I haven't tried it, but will wait until the bugs ( or a part of them) will be fixed and when it will be compatible with all softwares...also until i buy a better PC
it's the same as XP a few years ago.. everyone had ME or 2000, said XP sucks.. A year later, you needed to have XP in order to run all programs, and 99% switched to XP. History shall repeat itself
Who cares about the specs? If all I can do is the same as I can do on XP, except slower, where is the benefit? In the meantime I will stick with my Vista Transformation Pack - as far as I'm concerned I have the best version of "vista" out there!
