How to quickly uncover high demand keywords that have NO competition

How to uncover high demand keywords that have NO competition? QUICKLY  !!

    Hi everyone,

How is it possible to quickly uncover high demand keywords that have NO competition?
Is there a simple technique (without any cost, I can’t send any $s from where I am lol)

I’d rather ask for the moon LOOLL!!! :D

C’mon does someone have a simple technique or tool to share? Any strategy? Or simply comments on looking towards this problematic.

I know there is the free trial at Wordtracker, but hell, it takes me huge hours to find keywords that have substantial demand with no competitors.

There must be a way to find high demand keywords that are in high demand and low supply on search engines… without going through all the other results (high demand keywords and high competition…)

    Crucially
    :p

I keep a list of keyword ranking tools. Perhaps one of those will help you find what you are looking for...

Thank you BILZ :) I'll look at them and see.

I've gone through a bunch of keyword tools before also. But no one of these provided an appropriate response to the first question.

    I'm open to any suggestion.

Sounds like you have started the search for the Internet Marketing version of the holy grail. I am sure of 2 things.

    1. If someone has the solution they wont reveal to us in this open forum
    2. If you do manage to find this answer in here by the time everyone applies the principles it will no longer work!

    Love the idea though :)

    Hi John ODriscoll,

Thank you, I agree with what you said, I was thinking the same.

The only way I know to experiment and try in order to find out
what keyword his highly in demand and in poor suply is by using
a keyword tool that tells you how much the term was searched, then
go to Google and search for how many competitors there is for the
    exact keyword or keyphrase.

But hell! It consumes so much time! And when you finally end up
finding a "long tail keyphrase" that have no compétition or very low
competition, these terms are so speciallised, that you have no idea
about how to cover the question, and I do not want to spam anyone
by attracting them to my site using a keyword like "kargalize neo-
consumed pecklways undermashed with batata" (do not search, it
doesn't exist lol I invented these nonsens stuff) then once on my
    website, offering kookie recipes lol.

Argh! If only I had programming skills, I should be able to develop a
program capable of handling keyword search data automatically lol.

Please if someone have, say, some inspiration to share, do not be shy
    lol.

Ok ok it seems my question was too expensive lol

Then I'll lower it to much more reasonable thing :D

So, let's see: we need a simple strategy to track reasonable demand
that have a poor supply: quickly or better say as quickly as possible.
How to deal with that question without using a paid keyword tool?
Oh but if there is a free keyword tool that delivers this special data
    so why not.

Why would I search for high demanded keywords that have poor supply?
Well, the answer is I want to start a new blog, and I'm not sure at all
my subject choice will have any money potential, so, I need to choose
between many subjects that may interest me. Of course I will not use just
any keywords, I mean I will not use keywords related to domains where I
have no experience or interest in.

So, If you have any tip to fast track the process, you're invited to share
    it :)

And the expensive first question of this thread is still open, any challenger?

One program that you can use is Adwords analyzer. It takes a while but you can find just what you're looking for. Make sure you use the "With Quotes" feature. And then you can see the KEI.

Here's an example of one I found "tippman paintball guns" It has 2,141 searches, and only 810 matches. That's a KEI of over 5,000 which means it's reallly, really hot. It wouldn't take you long to rank in the top 10 for this term, and it has a fair amount of traffic. I shoot for any keywords that have over 1,000 searches, and less than 20,000 pages. So, that's more like a KEI of 300-400.

    HTH,

    Hi MarcRoman,

Do you think that It would be easy to rank for a keyword that has more than 20,000 competing pages?

Usually when I see so many competing pages I dont go forward with it.
But if the normal seo process would help then I could go forward with keywords having 20,000 competing pages.

How long does it take you to get the top rankings for these keywords?

I think you should focus more on meeting information needs of people in your niche.

    Keywords will then come automatically.

BlogLover - what do all the numbers on the right mean?

SSG - there are ways to look at the number of searches a phrase get, then compare this to the number of links the top sites have, and some measurable on-page SEO factors.
But generally you'll find that the keywords fall into one of two categories.

    1) High traffic, high competitive
    2) High traffic, low competitive, but a largely unprofitable niche

Generally, the more traffic there is around a niche, the more sites out there who will compete for this traffic - to a point where they reach a plateau where it becomes uneconomical for them to keep competing (ie - they're not getting a return on their time/cost/effort to justify the investment it takes to keep competing for that traffic). After that point, the market reaches a saturation point, and sites will only do as little as they can get away with in order to keep their position/dominance in the SERPs.

Having said that, I say "Generally" because the web is still maturing - and I'm sure there are dozens of 'undiscovered' keyword niches out there.

Some one said its good to go for words with less then 20000 results...

I do not agree with you as its just the pages on top10 which matter and thats what every one aims for ... A word may have 1000000 results and still be fairly easy to rank in top 10 just because those top 10 were not that strong.

the principle which wordtracker works on is very misleading...

Boy, that's a pretty bold statement, smfseo.
You mean that you could compete for any keyword regardless of the number of competing sites.
And could you tell me , how wordtracker is misleading. I would really like to know.
Could you tell me what you do for getting a good rank. I would love to get a few tips from you.

Thanks infonote, I agree. The problem is that it takes a sizable amount of time while you already have a website, but I'm doing preliminary keyword search. And I need to analyse demand that I can locate before getting into the content creation.

Yes you deserve it man, here's for you: **"TINGGG"** !!! (your DP experience upgraded? LOL)
That's an amazing tool! I wonder from where it comes. I tried a ton of keyword research tools, no one provides such detailed info about GOOGLE!!
Thank you BlogLover :) Please tell me, how did you find it? Is it a new tool?

Indeed! Yeah Green Rep from SGG also.

Quite interesting BrentH, thanks. By the way, "...and I'm sure there are dozens of 'undiscovered' keyword niches out there", yeah so sure that I'm hunting for the ones that I'll be able to cover. Trying to have a good start. (since I'm too slow lol, need to accelerate some crucial processes..)

Well I think I saw one or two keywords that have a high demand and millions of results on Google, and still easy to compete with (or at least I think...) but the problem is that I do not think it will be worth going for it for me cause I tested with the adsense preview tool (I'm relying on Adsense revenew source for now, I have no other choice)... results were quite deceiving lol. (for instance: something related with a free email service) Ok I could do some effort but it is definitely something I can not cover.

I used Wordtracker (free trial) a lot. And the last time I checked some french keywords in it, I was amazed at the PERFECTLY ACURATE results it gave me about keywords I'm targetting on my french blog about writing.
But how can I know? Simple, by using Google Analytics, I saw which keywords people taped in Google and came to my blog for that keywords (I was not the first ranked on Google for them, say 4th or 5th) and the number of visits of that day for the search terms that Google Analytics told me, were the same wordtracker reported for that day! Amazing! (well I have a very poor number of visitors lol, can't brake the 60 visits/day line lol)

Hey John ODriscol! The tool reported by BlogLover is 50% of the Holy Grail!
I believe it exists, I hope we'll find it ;)

    Thank you everyone.

Still motivated to get a complete answer for the very first expensive question, I'm confident

    See you!
