Does Channel Name Have Any Effect On Earnings?

    Does a channel name have any effect on earnings?

    e.g. if i call my channel

    header v.s sport_header

    will this have any effect on my earnings?

    It does not have any effect! Ads are mainly based on the content and the location. ;)

    nowadays, optimizing adsense is harder than making a healthy diet to loss weight, the questions "does fruits make me to loss weight faster?" are replaced with "Does a channel name have any effect on earnings?"

    What about the effect of deleting a channel in the panel but still having it in ads?

    Channel name is only for tracking so i do not see any effect if you delete it. As far as name of channel i see no advantage except keeoing track of earnings and hits.

    many people actually think that channel is "optimizing your keywords" but ITS NOT that way.

    Its just a locater of which ads on your website are doing better . assuming you have place 4 block of ads around the website.

    Not as much effect as if your name is Tim.

    If you sign up an Adsense account under the first name of Tim you'll find that Google skims half your earnings and doesn't count all your clicks.
