    Seriously, why bother with crap links from crap sites -- what will that achieve? At best a short term boost in PR that might just improve SERP's ... perhaps bringing some traffic but maybe not.

    Better spending the time on a worthwhile activity.

    What helps is getting links from quality sites.

    Search Engines have filters and they know most of the link farms. They have a team dedicated to spam-detection and you can bet that they already know about that site and it's partners.
