For some yes... For people that know how to eat well it doesn't matter where you live and some of the problem I fell is genetics and they could live anywhere and still become over weight...
I don't think America's obesity problem has anything to do with genetics. I think it has to do with greed and laziness. The "rest of the world" has fatso genetics and junk food. Japan even has a seductive Ms McDonald... However ... fat chicks still rock
Huh so their are no fat people in europe, and no skinny people in the usa? ..... I am not going to even comment any further...
yeah it is absolutely true, but europe is even becoming over weight as mcdonalds infultrates. The only best thin places are asia, everyone in china is extremely thin. Its just the diets
I don't have a comment on this. There is fat people in the US and there are skinny. There are skinny people in Europe, but there are also fat. - Prilep
You have me absolutely bewildered.... I don't even have a reply to that... so, I guess since were doing stereotypes here, the US is fat, europe is skinny.... what country are you from? The arogant one?
no , but the highest level of obesity is in the united states. So the stereotype holds true. and i live in the states
i wish i were fat. seriously, i wish what i eat everyday at least goes somewhere and works wonders. about the pictures, it would be simplistic to draw a line of difference. but yeah, many (not all) americans are getting fat you almost wish they could use a taste of poverty from time to time, just like in the third world, so they dont go taking things for granted
Nobody said that. But if you can't see that the USA (and Australia and the UK) has a much larger proportion of obese people than Europe/Asia does, then you're living in fantasy land. Just look at the ridiculous SUVs/trucks you guys need to get from A to B.
first, it costs more to eat well- than it does fast food type garbage in the US. another important thing to consider, is that if you dont live in a city...you sit on your fat ass and drive everywhere- instead of walking. suburbia. i am living in malta and i would guess that the majority of the people look presentable. fast food is a fortune here-not really- while you can have a really tasty meal for about the same price or less.
I've seen this before! I think it's generalizing.. but for me, I think it's the truth.. it's just the difference in American & French culture and lifestyle that "caused" this lol.
Of course it is. But I'm sure a statistical average would end up with the same result. I was going to be smart and post a global obesity map. But when I searched for "obesity map" in Google images, all I got was images of the USA.
