1 impression, 2 clicks

I checked my adsense this morning.
One site showed 1 impression and 2 clicks.
    Is that possible?
It make sense to me that in order to have 2 clicks, you need to have at least 2 impressions...

One man entered your site... and then he right clicked on two ads... it happens...

And get you banned, well yeah, it's quite easy.
Anybody can go to a site with adsense and click on the ads like crazy.
The adsense account will be banned in no time...and try to explain to G that it's not your fault...as they care...;)

Since the ads should (in theory) be well targeted to your site and your visitors are probably (in theory) interested in your site, it is possible a single visitor found both ads of interest. I'm sure AdSense will understand this occurance every so often.

I don't understand how its the publishers fault for stupid visitors? I used to be paranoid about stuff like this, but I have no control over it. Google's Analysis of the clicks should always prove my innocence. Luckily I have a personal rep now, so if anything is fish they can rectify. I hate being liable for something I have no control over.

Yes.., But it is human tendancy to like two things at a same time & the Google people understand this .. But only when it occurs occationally & not as a malpractice..

I wonder if you click on the back button to reenter your site it would just count as one impression?

Has happened to me already. My constant 40-50% CTR on one of my sites is worrying me more.

I always thought that 100% CTR is actually the maximum.
This morning, it was 200% with my 1imp/2 clicks

I don't get why people believe Google to be so ban happy. Do you really see Google banning a website with one impression and two clicks? I know every click counts, but I'm sure they have bigger fish to fry and the 2 or 4 cents lost here doesn't even begin to compare the thousands stolen each year.

why you are so sure that you will get banned ? i see on your website from your signature that you use ads by google.

When i visit an website, if an ad or other link gets my attention i open it in a new window, i never close a page i'm viewing until i read everything on it. I always open link in new tabs. And probably a lot of users do this.. When i do a search on google, i always open pages in new tabs, because is a big chance to not get what i'm looking for from the first website, and i don't like hitting the "back" button. This can happen when some user click on a link unit on your webpage. You can't be banned because someone clicks on an ad 2 times, someone clicked 10 times on my ads, i sent a mail to google, and they said that they appreciate my cooperation.

I agree. And 10 clicks and telling G is fine.
I get an email last month from a friend in Europe. Somebody clicked hundreds of time on his ads, 3 days in a row. He sent an email to G. G sent an email to him the next day saying " illegal clicks have occured bla bla..."
The clicker sent an email to G saying that my friends actually asked him to clicks on his ads. My friend got banned, nothing he could do.
And I'm sure there's other ways to ban somebody, other ways I don't know of, but possible maybe...

    Hi,
It might be a delay in updation of stats.. At times impressions doesn't get reflected fast but the clicks gets updated fast.. Not sure though anyway all the best for the clicks..

    Regards,
