    I figured i'd share a site that i use call SecureIX

    You sign up for the email (no person id needed) and you use your login to open a VPN (virtual private network) so all internet activity is coming from the VPN's IP. Great if you download via bittorrent to stop mpaa from watchin your traffic :D :D :D

    blah blah blah.... hope someone finds this useful!

    well, in theory yes. but i've had download speed at several hundred mb's per second on T1 and T3 connections... so it all really depends on your normal speed

    exactly how i feel. the internet was built for the military and then released for public use. part of it's heritage is the ability to remain anonymous, and that is slowly being taken away via cable companies, data mining, and dooshbag telecoms.... I support freedom of information and NET NEUTRALITY!!!

    I am sorry, but I was under the impression that you are promoting a program that lets you download whatever you want without being caught by the authorities. I can't think of a better use of it than in illegal downloads. Did I miss something?

    several hundred mb's per second?

    i use to run topsites and had 10 networked 100mbit's and even when transferring to themselves they only got max of 36mb/s

    VPNs aren't just used to avoid being 'caught', but to avoid being watched - not only by "the authorities", but by anyone. If you use an unknown/public connection without going thru a VPN, then you're nuts.

    well i go by what good ole Utorrent says! and i kno that 1.3 gig program downloaded FASTTTTTTT

    just go find a nice big university and find a way to get directly plugged in to there hub :D (late at nite so there is little traffic)
