I know many people are looking for free directory to help them get backlinks. but most free directory lists are only a list, having few time to check the directory, and many of the directory on the list were dead or switched paid one. Now I am glad to release the powerful free phpld directory list, and here is the update history, it's 2-months-list There is only 100+ free directory but all is free. and it will be re-checked everyweek, so you will not worry about whether its free. It's a niche directory list, as all of us know few people have so much time to list all free ones and manage it, what's the best is to list a special list. And we already listed the strongest phpld directory. Of course, we need more free one, but we only list the directory which is more than 4 months old, as there are 30% new directory would switch to paid one and 10% would be dead, only 50% would be free after pagerank update. Antonio, on your 'Top and latest page rewrite for phpld' I've been there done that many moons ago, and would just like to state that you will return a 404 on your header. Just thought you should know

Could you add http://www.the-free-directory.info/ It is a PR4 directory, not 4 months old but i promise to keep it a free one for always as the domain name also suggests it to be free
