Does anyone know of a good cheap United states host that can allow the following:

100 Megs of bandwidth an hour. (72 Gig/ month)
    Less than $10 per month
Fast loading pages ( pages average on 50kb)

I dont need any databases scripts or any funky stuff just clean html and a few graphics....( Awstats would be very nice though)

Seems like a hosting promo competition going on... :p

Anyway, as the OP needs only static pages and images hosted, so almost no load on the server.

I'd suggest you to go for the HostGator Baby Plan - many satisfied consumers and reputable company.

Take a look at some HostGator Reviews and Coupons by DP users if you're interested.

    And yes, comes with AwStats.

Thanks....I dont go with the cheap hosts like the others above since the sites load very slow ( 1000s of sites crammed on one server)

    Ill go w/ host gator.

I had a dispute with them, even my bank was involved in recovering my money and 1an1 has lost the case because.
Yet, I love their hosting service, even though sales and tech support can give one a headache. And I would certainly give them a second chance if I were given a good opportunity I could take advantage of. Simply because they are among the top on the list, if not first, despite their bad reputation. If they haven't fallen after all that, then I have strong reasons to continue to trust them.

Or in other words you are going to pay more for a hosting service with thousand sites and lots of downtime and trouble, fourth in the bad hosting list after 1&1, GoDaddy and Dreamhost

Not my opinion because I have never tried any of them, but what I found after google it

Or in other words, I need to pay more attention to headers

Firstly, I could not find the search thread function at the top, and now I missed that of the United States, LOL :)

I second Dreamhost. I have never had a major problem (a bit of downtime is all, but no biggie; they keep you well informed through their status page). And their support is top notch. For the price you can't beat them.

Negative feedback is normal on the web ;)
Guess you can give them a try if there is at least some positive opinion about it and it doesn't seem to be from someone interested to attract customers.
