Thanks for the answers on the other post. Just one last thing... has your identity been WebberCo. Ltd. for the 8 years or has your brand name changed over time? If so, could I know a few? Also, looking for some testimonials. Ones by DP members would be great. Thanks!
hawksdomain: I will be replying to your PM later today. Thanks. Static: I have operated as WebberCo, Ltd for last 3 or 4 years. Prior to that, I didn't actually use a business name, just a website and WOM advertising. As for testimonials, I have received lots of praises from users lately, especially those here on DP, so I am in the process of creating a testimonials page for my site and will link to it once it's finished. Each testimonial will have a contact link for each user. Although email addresses will not be posted, for obvious reasons, I will use a secure contact form that will send an email to each poster so that you can validate the legitimacy of them.
Just made payment for the $10 account - if you would like, feel free to upload the example hotel script to my hosting account once it is done to make it easier, rather than the other details I gave you.
Static... I signed up about a week ago for bizoppz offer of the starter reseller account. I'm finding it to be what I'm looking for, and living up to what is being offered. I'm a little on the 'newer' side to reseller hosting, but I'm finding it to be more than acceptable. Cpanel and Account manager are the standard good programs that I have with my other sites. Overall I'm happy... hope that this helps...
Thanks starke and bizoppz. The WHOIS on Webber Co only dated back to a couple years, so was wondering what was up. I'll be in touch with you bizoppz in a few days. Just made a big payment for a gadget on eBay and my PayPal is as empty as an empty can of coke. Thanks! P.S. Just wondering if overselling is allowed. Thanks.
hiya Static .. (and BizOppz, hope you dont mind me writing this) I just wanted to tell you of my experience with BizOppz. I have set up a couple of sites before, but basically am technically docile I found this link on DP while having a nose about, and decided to go for it. I decided to go for the $10 packages at first as the thought of a reseller account, or more to the point me having to control a reseller acccount, scared the life outta me. When i was going to order another $10 hosting package, BizOppz pm'd me and explained why the reseller package was going to be the best option for me financially, how its not as scary as it sounds and that they are only at the end of a support ticket if i needed any help. I decided to go for it, and they did exactly as the promised. They explained step by step how to add new domains and when I asked BizOppz the most silly/newbie questions they were so patient with me. They explained everything without going into technical mumbo jumbo mode. .. (some of the questions were so bad I could imagine them sat at the monitor shaking their heads and thinking to themselves OMG do we really want HER as a customer lol) Anyway I have had a reseller account for about 2 weeks or so now and cant fault them for customer service, value for money and speed at getting accounts up and running. I just wish i had found them earlier ! Erica xx
Thanks for the testimonial RPSPP. Really appreciate it! By the way bizopps, one last question. You know that 10 per year package that gives unmetered space/bandwidth? Can I host a domain called halo3downloads.com? It'll be sort of like a place where you can download halo3 trailers, backgrounds, clips, etc. Of course, nothing illegal though. Everything that can be distributed on my side. By the way, what means do you use for support? Via PM and support desk? Do you have a forums or a live chat? Thanks.
I clearly state that no download sites are allowed, however, provided that it does not bog down the server, I can't see why not. Most of my servers are managed servers (I pay someone to keep an eye on things) and as such, if they feel the server is being bogged down, sites can and will be suspended. This makes it a better experience for the majority of my customers and it is obviously not fair if the rest of my customers sites are sluggish because of 1 account. I am sure you can understand and appreciate that. As for support, I currently use an online help desk as this allows for more organized communication than a bunch of thrashed around emails. I will soon be setting up a forum as well, however, the last time I did that it was online for 2 years and only 14 registered users, which only 3 were active users, so I took it down. But, like I said, if enough people express interest, I may throw one back up. I have a VB license sitting around wasting space, so I might as well get some use out of it, heheh.
Well for the forum is concerned I guess its def a yes & for the VB why do you want to waste a license for youe closed set of clients. Why dont u try MYBB which is free and is comparable to VB. Thanks
Yeah, I was thinking of that too. I have a few other sites which would give me my moneys worth with VB, so I was thinking either MYBB or phpBB (anything free or low cost). I will be sending out an email to all hosting customers soon, and that will be one of the questions asked, so we'll see.
Well is there anybody else having a downtime with WHD3 server or is it me alone...? Bizoppz hope you sort out this issue soon.
Yes, I am in the process of resolving this as well as setting up a new server. I am also in the process of reviewing options for mirrored servers so that should something like this ever happen again, the mirrored server will take over and there will be no downtime.
Woww you are making everybody MAD as well as me too lol Wht a service ! i really appreciate that. I will be willing to take a reseller package soon please hold a slot for me too thanks. BTW can i pay you per month ?
I have just purchased 2 new servers (1 earlier this morning and 1 just a few moments ago). Once they are online, I will be offering new plans and options so please subscribe to thread and check back later today.
