Can we run Adbrite Inline Ads and Adsense on the same page?

didnt know adsense finally befriended with adbrite lol

from what i understand, "inline ads" are not the same thing as what they call "active interstitials". so can ANY adbrite ads format be used together with adsense, or not? i thought inline ads would be a big no no, for been "contextual". is this a recent update from google's side?

I don't know why the heck are you guys even using adbrite.
Also I never heard of adsense allowing other ads on the same page.
Confirm it with google before you do anything and get yourself banned.

I am using adsense and kontera on the same page. I hope this wont be a problem although i did not ask this to Adsense yet.. But people say that Kontera and Adsense are ok to use together. But the best way for now seems to be asking this to adsense team. Let us know if someone gets an anwer from them.

I think you should really ask adsense.. or else you are going to get banned.

i use kontera and adsense ads -- that is not a problem with either so i don't see how adbrite inline ads would be an issue

I wouldn't trust anything Kaplan says. Its more beneficial for him to see you banned from adsense, so you have to use httpads.com errr.. marketbanker.com.. errr... ah yes.. adbrite.com (at least, its still adbrite.com until he changes the name again)

from what i read on google group forum, they do allow adsense and adbrite together, as long as the ads look different i.e. if ur adsense blend in, ur adbrite should stand out, or at least have different colours.

also, u cannot use adbrite's network ads, only the ones u approve manually.

I have to say, I agree with you. I have tried adbrite, and unless you are hosting a really popular site, where people are willing to advertise, I don't think there is much point in using them at all...that is if you still have an adsense account.

I have a high traffic site and I had a total of 13 clicks in a 3 day period. I couldn't use the network ads so using AdBrite is pointless and a waste of time.

    Here's the reply from them:

    Hi Pinvader,

Thanks for your email. I understand you'd like some clarification on our
    competing ads policy.

AdSense publishers may display third party ads such as AdBrite ads on
sites and pages showing Google ads as long as the formatting or color
scheme of these ads is sufficiently different from the layout of the
Google ads. In other words, if you choose to place non-Google ads on the
same site or page as Google ads, it should always be clear to the user
that the ads are served by different advertising networks and that the
non-Google ads have no association with Google. If the formats are
naturally similar, we'd ask that you use different color schemes for the
    competing ads.

We appreciate your concern and cooperation.

For additional questions, I'd encourage you to visit the AdSense Help
Center (http://www.google.com/adsense_help), our complete resource center
for all AdSense topics. Alternatively, feel free to post your question on
the forum just for AdSense publishers: the AdSense Help Group

    Sincerely,

    Stephanie
