We have some big problems with PayPal, we did what we thought was a routine task change one credit card from secondary to primary and at the same time remove the original primary credit card Now the My Account defaults to the old primary which is no longer on the database as it has been removed and PayPal have screen that says that too. But it does not see the new primary but still sees the old(now removed) primary credit So now we are unable to make payments direct from the credit card via the PayPal My Account This is what I sent PayPal over 20 hours ago ..............of course no reply -------------------------------------- Dear Support I tried unsuccessfully to change my primary credit card from xxxxxxx 9780 to xxxxxx 9525 During this process I removed the xxxxxx 9780 as it is no longer valid and set to primary xxxxxx 9525 Then what happened all my subscription payments cancelled I want to reset the subscriptions and use as Primary xxxxxx 9525 Thanks for your help Best Regards Peter ---------------------------------------------- Of course I have telephoned them numerous times to be met by a battery of answering devices and techniques of course to even hear a live human voice is something that they obviously find impossible to provide Sorry to all DP Members who have had their subscriptions cancelled I just pressed one button and then zap all the subscriptions were cancelled Of course being based outside the States and Europe does not help as when you say you are based in Asia in your online transactions does not help Any advice on how to fix this problem please note telephoning is out(see above) and emails seem as though they go unanswered Help Welcome Thanks
Peter, Best of luck in your paypal adventure. Just a word of warning, paypal as working for then probably the most stupid people in the world, also they have some very strange and stupid internal procedures, so be prepared to suffer.
I just got a email response from PayPal its very big in content will start on the points now and try get all areas set back to full functionality Fingers crossed, hoping We can still receive payments
Hope everything gets well soon.. I also did an email before 2 weeks but no response - I got an automated mail saying make a phone call as we are very busy due to lot of mails.. If they can't give good mail support instead of earning so much of revenue, then its waste. pp sucks really. An internation phone call can cost 1$/minute and dont know how long a conversation can last.
When your pin in such situation PayPal's response time very very slow. Best advise to people who haven't already used PayPal, try to avoid as much as possible for using with business. PayPal sucks for business. As for you try calling them is way better then email support and proper your self for long wait time.
Unfortunately, PP isn't really that great for its service. I guess when you have millions of customers, there's not really much chance your company will have great customer service. Ideally, your customers won't need it... Hmm.
Paypal is great till you have to call or e-mail customer service then all hell breaks lose, i recommend phoning then e-mail is simply worthless. So you have your paypal fixed britishguy?

Hello... I feel ya... im still waiting for them to send me my debit card as its been now over 3 months of calls and emails.... Last Transmission to them.... Yes but the initial one had been changed by the bank at my request and I simply wanted to change the other one from secondary to primary and I pressed the button Then what happened is all in the OP
PayPal never replies to any email. I had few problems in my first account and they havent even replied me after I sent them a mail on 29th January 2007 I dont expect anything in that account to reach me...
Paypal is still one of the most riskiest merchants in the world and if you can avoid to use their services, please avoid that any time you can. Paypal would cause not other thing than nightmares and that is not the purpose of a payment processor. I guess when the fact called ebay weren´t backing Paypal, than they could have disappered soonest a few Years back. Take care when using them, better avoid using them in the future.
