I thought for a moment that No.14 was mine but was not; Directory Surfer. Glad that someone is idolizing my site just like Alike to Alive.
I realize that this is somewhat unprecedented, but I'm going to disqualify -- From best designed directory: 1. H-log 2. Sbclansite From best free template: 1. City Theme 2. Soothing Blue The owner of these unfortunately decided to bribe contestants who voted for his directories and templates, which is entirely inappropriate, IMHO. Ironically, the owner of these casts himself as a reformer of DMOZ. The corruption must run really deep there.

What can i say..... We are ALL judged by our peers for our efforts and rewarded by our sacrifices and commitment to our ever growing industry. Those who cheat,lie,and scam thier way to the top Will Not recieve any recommendations from us but rather ignored and placed into OUR selected chosen catagory. Hello... Onlinedude... I believe their was a mix-up of sorts as the template Is Not totally 100% origanel and was a free template that was colored as well as new items placed but the inner mechnism that drives the template is someone elses, so i cannot and will not claim as my own creations. These templates show the info needed at the footer so any prizes should rightfully be awarded to the creator. PS... because the contest involves my sites i will refrain from voting as well. Let the best man or woman win many thx malcolm
Yup I totally agree. Thanks to both of you who have joint hands and are making the directory community big by starting such contest. Just blogged about it too, will goahead and vote at the phpld forums in some hours. Once again jeff, as david said, thanks for creating the best contest ever!
