i wonder how much money is digitalpoint gettting from google adsense. i am gussing around $3 to 6k a month
If I remember correctly, it was around $6500 or so a month a couple months ago. Shawn has mentioned the amount a couple times.
I heard $10k a month and no mention of the rev. share so I really don't know how that works. But it seems like DP should be doing more than $10k a month.
hmm...i don't see a single google ad on his site. so how can he make that much money? the alexa rank for shoemoney is 1,350 and digitalpoint Rank=107 so that means DP should be earning more money than shoemoney. i think megaupload is getting the highest earning from adsense since its the only site using google adsense in the alexa top 20 list.
The CTR here is terribly low. I wonder if DP earns more from displaying the ads than from the clicks.
Well, last time I checked Google itself was in the top 20 - and every time you do a Google search it displays the sponsored ads so I say you are wrong - the Big G is actually making quite a nice amount from those sponsored search results in the right hand column.
10k to shawn to 10k to the members means 20k, though I think in the ny Times article he mentioned making 15k a month.
It would be interesting to know how much DP are making from the aff. vbulletin link at the bottom of the pages.
NYT mentioned a figure which I think should be used because it is the only time he has been known to specify a figure. Of course the monthly figure might vary from month to month.
