Text links can't give you much direct traffic, it might be good for SEO.

Why not ? If website which has lots of traffic has your link then you get some traffic also. I have link on a website and it delivers 2000+ uniques per month !

2000+ per month? wow... how much do you pay for the link iatbm?

TLA is great. I'm still using their service.

Didn't pay nothing. I just got lucky and someone using my free template and left the link Design by : .... in the footer

I wanted to say if you have a link on high traffic site you can expect some traffic !

TLA is good, and so is their newer brand: ReviewMe.com - where you can buy/sell reviews.

They dictate the price, you can take it or leave it - no negotiation

Does anyone know how long does t take, on average, for the ads to appear?

I signup yesterday, submitting my blog (PR5 / web development related / 15k uniques a month), the "test ad link" was gone this morning, but no ads... does it take days, weeks? or in other words, after how long, if i see no ads, it's safe to say the sales are not working and I can safely remove it?

Also, as someone here mentioned the google adsense penalty. i asked it earlier in this forum and someone replies to me saying the ads are compatible, is it 100% sure, regarding both text links and feedvertising? because if the last thing i want is to risk my adsense account.

Yes TLA sets the price and yes if you have enough good sites the money is good.

I've had 6600 unique visitors this month - is that good enough to entice buyers? :p

I'm using AdBrite at the moment and no one has bought any adverts ($1 a day, $5 a week, $15 a month - is that expensive or something?) and the CPM is really poorly paid!
