Currently 3 directories that I have put a lot of initial work into creating the script from scratch. Reviewing submissions is the biggest time consumer at the moment. Am always adding new features. For guys like malcom1 with many directories it must be a nightmare. Not only have you got submissions but what about all the other 'admin' involved in running a drectory.
Well the difference between FREE and PAID are DAY and NIGHT. Paid recieves 2% submissions off total visiters per day so its not like im 2000 deep in any 1 directory. Paid arena takes time and much work for anyone webmaster to invest $$$ into you, they have to know your not a deadbeat, and belive in your skills to take them to the top. Note: Before you just decide to go PAID your directory has to overcome many obsticals before anyone even thinks about buying YOUR links. Your directory should have atleast SOME type of PR as well as offer Much MORE then the next GUY or GAL does or atleast have a few (directories) that are paid already and be able to show that you know what is needed to take Your directory as well as THIER websites to the next level + more that i dont have the time to go into. You may have noticed that i said im raising the BAR which i have been in my few directories (Biz-King- Sleek-C2C-Tech) adding $MODS$ that offer more links Per website and other Investments that are crucial for Paid directories as this will Stop others from making the transition to Soon as other webmasters will judge wether your site is even worth them investing and being listed in. THX malcolm
2 and a half. The half is where I've used my directory script on a site that isn't wholly a directory. All are niche, so it's not as though the submission numbers are overwhelming.
