Help Me Get Adsense Going!

Hello all, I have been using adsense for about 1 month on several of my websites, I just recently have started to make some actual money with it, 2.50 a day.

That is of course not that impressive, I want to get really good at adsense so I can make money off of it and not have to worry about paying bills as much. I don't need to make 100's of dollars a day although it would be nice

If I could make 25.00 a day I would be happy!

Basically I am going to track my progress here in hopes that you all can shed some light on the subject, and so if I do well you all can do the same!

My first question is this: Is it better to have adsense on your site which is totally related? Like for instance I have a directory at www.totaldmag.com/directory It gets most of the clicks through it and it has several different channels open.

So I thought what I would do is create a site at www.totaldmag.com/digital-cameras/ Then I would buy some links and link to it on my front page as well as some of my high pr sites / blogs!

I will have adsense on it in 3 places, each block having a different channel.

Block one: digital cameras
Block two: cameras
Block three: camera phone

Will you all help me to move onto the next step? What is next, how do I get people to go to it regularly?

To drive users to your web pages, you must have good content on these pages so as search engines to rank you as well as possible. Good unique content means more users, increased traffic and more money.

The best niches are: financial: loans, debt, mortgates etc..., law, mesothelioma etc...

Try these links:

If useful, please ad to my reputation.

Thank you and good luck, mate!

Nobody is going to give away there niches...
And all these top paying keywords have been taken... and alot of competition in them... The best shot you got is searching for a niche and not telling anybody about it. :)

how many unique visitors is your site getting per month?

I started getting more clicks when i changed text colors on the ads to the same color as the content, they stand out (so easily viewed as google ads) but blended at the same time, actually recieved more clicks that way :)

I think your site www.totaldmag.com/directory is violating Google TOS.
You have both Adsense and Bidvertiser ads on your main page.
remove Bidvertiser immediately.

There's nothing wrong with Bidvertiser, he should just give it a different design.

OK, maybe...
I thought it was against Google TOS to run ads from another program on the same page.

Hi

what nobody would care to explain to you is Google now allows ads from their competitors to reside on the same page as Google Adsense ads.

This is a major change from previous policy and so you were right.

From Google

So basically you can run competing ads but they must not look like the Google Ads.

Hope this helps :)

Hi

One thing I would have to say is I doubt Google is never going to show you rankings very high for your skilledseo.org site...

As you are apparently a For-profit organization most likely Google will see this, and filter you out of any upper results rankings.

Remember Google is a database of information and can easily see if you carry a 501c3 certification.

Best of luck....

I think that google will be OK with it, yeah I'm making money off ad sense but the site itself sells no product(s)

They might be...hard to say I dont own them so I really am not in a position to say....

You might want to research your keywords and see where .org domains fall in the rankings....

I've yet to see to many .org sites rank very well on Google for SEO SEM Internet Advertising related terms..

It should also be noted SEs are not the only way to drive traffic

Good luck

You seem to be only posting crap these days, aren't you? There was never any evidence at all that Google favors or handicaps websites due to their tld. So before you post ludicrous statements like that you should back them up with some proof.

Its not as easy as that. You can't just instantly be making 25$ a day. It takes a heck of a lot of work.
