I wouldnt settle for anything less then low 7 figures. Its got great potential, and any superpower (Google) would be stupid not to get thier hands on this one...

Put it out as an auction and see what you get. If you dont like the final price then dont sell it but i'm sure you will like what you'll see.

Moniker has several in-person domain auctions a year (physical, not internet only). It typically realizes the highest price for sellers. You might look into it. I heard the owner of Hell.com was trying to sell it there.

I'd go with Moniker over Sedo.

No offense, but that video should be pulled and never shown again :) Get someone to produce a NICE, SLICK ad - one worthy of your domain name. I'm sure you could find someone to do it for bragging rights or for just a little bit of $$.

I'd just be repeating others here if I gave an appraisal. Nice recovery. You just paid off your college loans or ensured your kids won't have any.

Social.com is seriously a GREAT domain dude it might just make you a millionaire. Do not settle for anything low, even if you have to wait for 10 years to get a good price for it, this is a once-in-a-lifetime-oppurtunity for you to cash on the domain (LITERALLY, YOU WONT FIND A DOMAIN LIKE THIS EVER AGAIN).

    Just think about it.

Social Bookmarking and Social Networking sites are RICH and they'll pay a good amount for such a site.

tbh if i was the owner i would sell my house or get a loan and develop the site myself rather than sell it. It has the potential to make its sell value from 1 year ads income.

IT would be best if social.com also showed the same page as www.social.com.

The domain name Social.com will go on sale at Sedo starting March 21, 2007.

More details, including a link to the listing will be available at http://www.social.com on that date.

I'll definitely be watching this one. My bet is you'll get a very nice level of return on this one. I'll put it this way.... I'd trade you my house and 1697 pretty good domains... and my car, my truck... the farm... lol, what's sad is that I'm serious.

Best of luck; I don't think you'll need it.

I would keep it and develope a social network or atleast a dating service.

I'm all up for short term gratification, but I don't think I would ever let go of a domain like this.
