I am reminded of the woman who left her car running at a gas station to run in and pick up something quick at the "mart.". Someone jumped into her car and tried to steal it...with the woman's child strapped into a safety seat in the back seat. Regardless of what you might think of this woman exiting the vehicle even for a short time, she ran to the car and grabbed on through the driver's side window, which was open, while the perpetrator sped away...dragging her along... She reached into the back seat somehow where her (unused) "club" anti-theft device was laying and proceeded to beat the guy have to death with its titanium alloy construction. The guy almost died...and sadly the woman, if memory serves, had both legs crushed under the rear wheel...I think they had to amputate them both. It seems that "the club" is an appropriate name for that anti-theft device...
I think that stupid mugger got what was coming to him. If I was a marine, and some ninja artist.. and some mugger was trying to destory my vacation by stealing my cash.. I would break his whole families necks...
Yes sometimes street justice is better then normal justice. You think the other mugger friends will ever mug someone after what they saw?
Well...in keeping with the comments...I would like to point out... In the United States, we frequently forget that what we have is a "legal system," not a "justice system." The system is frustrating because of all those who have learned to manipulate it...and our expectation that somehow justice is supposed to be embedded in the system. Sadly it does not always turn out that way. It is an imperfect system. I share all of your feelings about the perpetrator experiencing the consequences of his own actions. For myself, I would have preferred him not to have died...but I would not fault anyone in what happened as it was obviously self-defense, and the perpetrator precipitated the entire affair. I guess I think it would have been more "instructional" to the one who died had they survived. I think it would have been fitting that they live longer with those consequences so that they would have time to comtemplate what they themselves were threatening to do to innocent people. Do not misunderstand...I am not sympathetic to the perpetrator. But I am not a big fan of the loss of life...even when there is little alternative.
That should make his vacation slides a little more interesting... "oh yeah, and here's where I broke that guy's neck. there's a great little fruit stand right around the corner from there..."
Wow. No prison sentence at all! Also, I feel sorry for the mugger, simply because he probably became a mugger because that was the only way he could make money to live... AND no-one deserves to die.
Someone intending to kill someone else for no reason what-so-ever should definitely deserve to die IMO.
It seem harsh but fair. There is far to much nannying imo. Maybe others of a criminal mind will read this and consider thier actions!!
you wanna rob someone, then fine, but dont cry for help if you get the shit kicked outta ya, or killed, rob the placesnwith the cash, when you cant harm anyone, i.e. a bank in the dead of night when they have no staff on. fort knox is a good place to rob, lots to share, and more fools to help you out
