I see that you've edited your post Dead Corn. "arrogant demanding of answers" So, the demanding of answers is arrogant? You have successfully summed up Christian faith in that sentence Dead Corn. This reinforces my conviction that theism, especially Christianity, is about obedience & following, not thinking & seeking answers. I'm afraid that you do, as you the very same people of faith assert the need to be created in your arguments against evolution, and advocacy of creationism/intelligent design/6013 year old earth.
Not my belief, your belief. You, the theist, the Christian, believe in creationism. The only difference being that, the big bang doesn't claim to have a creator
1 Cor 2:6-8 6We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. 7No, we speak of God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. 8None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
well, there are questions that logic and science can't answer, and till then, i suppose the authority of god will not be questioned.
exactly, so how did it happen? who made it happen? It's the same thing when you question Who made God?
How has been answered. Who is a question that only theists need to delude themselves with, as the big bang theory doesn't claim to have a creator. This is similar to asking, who makes rain rather than how does it rain.
I believe in god, because that is what i do, i hope everyone believes in god. to be honest with you, if you do not believe in god ill have to say you might want to reconsider doing that.
Since according to you he created all those things, he needs to have been created as well. And if he was created, he really isn't the creator at all.
How do you know that for sure? You don't. And very likely because he isn't (the creator of all those things). And very likely because he doesn't exist.
I hope the illustration below answers your question, If god created everything, who created God? If you say (small g) god, then MAN CREATED god. well, u see it all started in the history days long time ago where people worship the stone, sun and lightning and fire as god. Its because they could not find the answer to stange happenings those days.. so they said ohh that rain is god, sun is god.. and thus Man created god. and to the people those days.. there are like hundreds and hundreds of gods out there, and even Ceaser is god, the king is god, anything powerful is god. so the conclusion is you and I, and everyone created god.. its because we cannot explain the unexplainable and thus.. created the word "god" in the dictionary to explain the unexplainable that was done by someone. huahahahah cool rite ?
Well I don't know for sure but I believe everything that is in the Bible. It doesn't matter to me whether you believe it or if you believe anything in the Bible. I'm not the one who's going to judge you when this is all done. When that day comes, you will see.
network, that illustration apart from being irrelevant has nothing to do with my post which you quoted. If you bother to read carefully you'll notice that I never played the "if god existed there would be no evil" card. Makes sense
U belive if i said i saw the tree. That tree was cutting down by itself and become a ship without anyone create.. u belive that? we need someone that create us..we are created by god...
