I added some 2 weeks ago click bank affilaite links to my web sites.

I choosed about 40 diffrent products.

I used banner rotator to rotat the banners and count clicks.

I have on some of my web sites over 100.000 uniques per month.

So after 2 weeks no sale! and there is over 5000 click to those banners!

Untargeted traffic, all I can say.

I suggest you put product that are somehow related to your website. I had the same experience, putting Clickbank product, got tons of click but no sales. It's all about the quality of the traffic not the quantity.

Yup, just like Dog said. The thing about Clickbank is that most of their products are really really specifically targeted to people with very specific needs. And unless a person with that specific need happens to view that specific Clickbank product at a time when they're thinking about purchasing said type of product, it's very unlikely you'll ever get a sale.

Clickbank products generally work best with a very specific, target audience.

You definitively need to get targeted traffic instead of random clicks on a banner.

Can you show us your site? 100.000 a month can bring in some commissions even if it is not targeted. What kind of site is it?

True, 100k limpressions could bring in some decent CPM bids, depending on the type of site it is.

You try any PPC programs? I would, at least for a little to see if it helps.

Dog 24 said it best ... untargeted traffic = no sale.
I did that a few years back unrelated rotating banners and 10,000+ uniques later no sale. Regargless to say is was a uhumm cheap lesson because nothing was outof pocket but I wonder how much I lost? On that site a unique was worth about six to eight cents at least during that time frame now its about half of that.

Yea, I'd prefer to have 1 targeted vistor than 25 untargeted, quite frankly. And is the site optimized to the best of your ability?

There are a few factors to be considered.

Obviously #1 is that your target isn't very targeted.
#2 There are plenty of programs on Clickbank where the sales letter is horrible.
#3 You're not giving them any indication that you are recommending the program, as far as they know it's a random paid advertisement. What I've found is if you have a website that gets visitors, then give them a reason to click on the product sales page. There was a CB product who got a mention on a very popular digital photography forum by the owner, and went on to sell over 1,000 units in the hours and days following the one post. A bit of your own sales copy surrounding the affiliate link should increase your sales ratio by many multiples, well infinitely considering you're at 0.

    HTH,

Maybe the visitors to your site are very untargeted. Have you tried using goclick, where the results are much more targeted? Also PPC works much better than just trying to buy bulk popup under ads. Try using keywords to increase targeted visitors. :)

i have adsense too on same page.

but i need some affiliate too.

if visitors were untargeted they never clicked on ads.

Check your referrer log: where is your traffic coming from? Which keywords? Then select an affiliate program that suits your audience.

Mr_2 : I think it would be easier for the rest people here to help if you tell us what is your site about.

I would advice to follow MarcRoman's tips. I guess you know what is your audience. Try to figure what would they do if they were visiting the page you send them too. Would they buy or not? What kind of products should they want to buy?

Instead of a banner use some kind of text to create some interest in the product. Maybe add a small box in your page (instead of a banner) with a "Cool product of the day" header and a nice description about the product. In your description you should say what problems this product solve, nothing about price or features.

    Hope this help :)

Are sure everything is being recorded properly? Out of that many clicks, you were bound to get a sale or two.

    Good luck with that, man!

I hate to say it but I'd recommend you use Azoogle or CJ products or something like that instead on your pages with the kind of traffic you're talking about. You'd have WAY more sales with those, IMHO.

Sounds like you have awesome traffic there, in any case. Great job man.

    Good luck!

You need to also make sure that your site is very targeted and the keywords are targeted. Untargeted visitors is no good.
