that is more likely the truth. In fact , mary was supposedly somewhat of a whoreish woman, who did have a child or at least sleep with jesus. well it just goes to show how stories are manipulated, and oh "virgin"??? come one.

Cool. I wonder how long it will be before someone tries to clone God?

about mary being loose or that jesus is not the son of god??

well ther isn't a god to be a son of, so that is out the door. And her having jesus child well that is easy enough to believe, she didn't have jesus , she was with him

Talk about believe in fables. Show me one place in the Bible (or anywhere) where it says Mary was "whorish?"

It only shows so demonstratively the bias of some who claim they cannot believe one thing because there is no support, but believe something else when there is even less.

sarathy, I agree. I have always thought that it was kind'a counterproductive of the conservative right to refuse to see movies starring or directed by the Hollywood left. On the one hand they say the Hollywooders should never be taken seriously, then they go and lend them authenticity, a kind of power, by suggesting no one should see their movies.

I think Gibson is probably a closet nazi. I loathe nazi's. But I'll be darned if the boy don't make great movies. I go to them because that is as far as I consider him - a movie maker. And he does a good job at it. Couldn't care less what he thinks of jews.

Everyone's got their demons, Mel Gibson included. The good thing is he's got quite a redeeming quality, so here's hoping he continues to redeem himself with exceptional films. But it won't hurt for him to tone down the blood and gore a notch or two. I ain't that much a fan of slasher movies.

If there really are experts claiming to have found the tomb of Jesus, then all of the Atheists have something to talk about because finding Jesus' tomb proves the very existence of God. Jesus is God, so therefore, He exists since they found his tomb. Nobody can deny that fact even if they think they can.

great point...notice that they haven't said they found his bones, just his tomb (if it really is his)....My question is this, whose DNA are the going to compare it to to prove he was God? Jesus was fully human, but also fully God. Does God have DNA?

It looks like Cameron's credibility has hit an iceberg.

"Jesus'" tomb has been around for a long time. I've got a couple holy grails in my garage right next to the thumb of Peter.
