I think you meant Arjun Singh
Reservation is upto 100% in higher education(both private and govt institutions) and govt jobs since OBC/SC/ST have already outperformed general caste people in education, so those OBC/SC/ST who are brilliant will only occupy general merit seats, those who are not that brilliant will occupy reserved seats, now you calculate it.
India is also thinking of providing 15% quota in higher education and job for muslims, so which will literaly remove scope of higher education and govt job for general caste people.
On top of this social welfare ministry is trying to push same law in private sector as well.
So unless there is a nuclear war between india and pakistan reducing india's population significantly , be assured to see civil war between classes simmilar to what is happening in Iraq and SriLanka in India 20 years down the line

My suggestion would be to have reservation based on merit only that is
say you need to select 40 people from an exam , now you choose top 20 people and bottom 20 people , this way you provide reservations to needy irrespective of their caste and religion

Prime minsiter Manmohan Singh was saying that he is thinking of providing reservation to muslims not for the sake of appeasing them but for the sake of humanity, now the question is where does his humanity vanish in case of poor general caste people?

Hmm sorry...just a typing mistake..Arjun Singh...well how can i forget the name of the person who has changed my life !! :p

There are already 100 students fighting per seat for the exams like IIT which I am preparing for..

If there is so much reservation then not only will the students from the general category per seat increase but the pressure coming upon them would be tremendous..people who have been a part of this will understand how tremondous this "tremondous" is....

It is not easy to study hours and hours and then see the merit going to someone who has not even done half as much as hardwork you have done

I have seen people making illegal certificates of them being of a scheduled cast so that they get admission more easily...any one knows any website or blog upon it or should I make one ??

    plz inform
