    Hi,

I am curious about what other directory owners do and how they deal with MFA - Made for Adsense / Scraper sites. Do you guys delete them from your directory? Or do you allow them if they have paid / recip.?

Don't care if they pay or not. They get a refund and get deleted.

Delete and refund for paid directory.
For free one, most free directories will not accept MFA sites, and they will be deleted without review.

BTW, I have received many submission with an affiliated link like clickbank, I banned all the domain and IPs.

If they pay for yahoo dir, what will happen? ;)

Yeah I have been getting hit with a lot of clickbank affiliate urls recently so I just banned clickbank, I doubt they would try to submit! :)

Ok, so I guess it is pretty much a concensus that these sites are just deleted.

So, how do you determine if a site is MFA / Scraper? Personally if I see more than two ad blocks before any content that is the first red flag and then I decide based on the other attributes of the site... but they are trying to disguise it more and more because they know we are rejecting.

I recently had around 30 sites submitted by one guy, they looked like a scraper site in every respect but they had no ads displayed. So I ignored them and just left them in the submission queue for a few weeks and sure enough, when I came back to check, the owner had put up the ad code.

Here is another example: value buy.net

    (Take out the two spaces)

Would you consider this a scraper or accept the site?

This is one of those questions I have thought about over and over. Those MFA scraper sites that look like spammy junk get deleted in the blink of an eye. I have however created a solution that anyone trying to make a buck with MFA stuff can get their site listed in my directory if they are willing to pay for their spot.

I have a category specific to MFA and it comes with sub cats. I've actually seen a few MFA sites that appear to have been pretty well thought out and designed. If the owner seriously wants to get it listed in my directory, they have the chance.

Surprisingly, this section gets a lot of visitors. Don't know why unless those visitors are trying to see how other folks are using and designing these kind of sites.

For me it depends on the site. If it's a high content quality site that is made for a specific niche for google adsense marketing I would accept.

I think people confuse MFA for SPAM. Spammy sites I delete, quality are accepted and the MFA is irrelevant.

A scraper site by definition is a site built off other peoples web sites, in a majority of cases it is just duplicate content and or stolen content.

Why should we publish such sites in our directories?

Some people see Google ads & hit delete (calm down) not all sites with ads are crap, sites without much content & have google ads are MFA...
