Im just curious, I have read alot of stories about people making hundreds a day but for some reason I get the impression its alot harder now then it was say a few years ago. Im still very eager to get started, but I would like to know if anyone here makes good money still from adwords?
Then ya, there are plently of people making money with AdWords. That's kind of an strangely worded question...kind of like asking if anyone is making money by advertising
Most are hoping for a strategic ROI from using adwords. You really don't make money from it. It is used as sort of a crap shoot to entice visitors to other things.
im saying like I was going to promote affliate programs through adwords. I might be way off base but it seems logical that I could get 1 out of every 100 people that click my ad to buy my product and make a profit. I have read alot of people make money doing this.
depends how much you get back. im new to this stuff also.. thought i could make a prettier landing page than others on competitive keywords costs like 90 cents a click 21 for commision.. is like 1 out of 23 people just to break even so yeah i have it paused now lol until i figure out why other peoples' ugly landing pages are making money(same ads staying up on top, im just assuming they're making money- ad position is only about whoever bids higher right?) and my 'prettier' landing page isn't.
yea, same here. Im trying to figure things out. guys I didnt want to make a new topic because I have made alot lately, I just have so many questions. I heard you cannot firectly link your adword back to your affliate program like clickbank anymore, if thats true how do I make a landing page? Do I have to buy a domain and hosting? It would seem quite expensive to pay 8 bucks for a domain for each new test I want to conduct. Can I make a landing page without a domain name and all? Thanks
you can link directly but i haven't met anyone who would recommend only doing that. most people say make landing pages but you can also try direct linking i've only tried both a little and lost money w/o a sale xD if you look around you can get domains a lot cheaper than that and imho, 10-15 bucks a month for domain and hosting (and maybe 20 bucks for autoresponder which i haven't done) is nothing compared to cost of advertising.........(... x 10)
Many people make money using Adwords and PPC advertising. There are who make it linking directly, there are who use landing pages. It is up to you. having landing pages is better, you have more control over your conversions.
Like someone said earlier, it's not like it use to be. I just started managing campaigns for a rather large online retailer that has pretty competitive pricing. So far this week the ratio per day is: for every 1$ spent with Adwords, we get 8$ in gross sales back. After you take out costs, shipping, and consideration of a 10% return rate... it's not like it's this huge return. In the long term, it is still beneficial. We have a client's email, address, phone number, and can entice them with promotions/coupons to return.
Landing page is used to convince the visitor in clicking on the link, capturing emails, increasing conversions, optimizing for Adwords to lower bids etc.
I read at a site that linking directly to clickbank was not legal anymore, so I guess thats wrong? Thanks
gamefray thats amazing! Dog_24, do you make that much? Im just wondering because I thought the adwords game was kinda dead lately. Its inspiring to see people making so much money.
