I've used both. I think Adsense performs much better.

So to answer your question, no.

In many sectors Adsense is currently paying more per click than YPN - and Adsense is far ahead of YPN in serving relevant ads which results in a much higher CTR. I've gone from running 90% YPN to about 50/50 and will continue to adjust to whichever pays more. YPN pricing are dropping and advertisers are opting out of content (what YPN shows on publisher sites).

If you don't factor in CTR or that YPN doesn't pay for International clicks, their pay per click is usually higher - but that will only continue to drop when they open it up to everyone unless they are able to get a LOT more advertisers. They are moving in the wrong direction.

You can always use Ad-rotator to display both.

We'd certainly be open to trying YPN, but have to wait for the international rollout... ah well.

in 2 steps - jan 2006 and jan/feb 2007 i have improved and optimized my adsense layout and placements to extremely well, that it is hard to belief any other inclk YPN ever coiuld match adsense
G has bee excellent for me in all the past - I see no reason at all to risk a good realtionship with a major income source just to get a few times a month a few cents higher clicks

I have always used Adsense but all my friends use YPN and I heard that they are less strict on banning members and that they pay more for clicks on average so I think I will make the switch to YPN as soon as I can.

Entirely depends on YPN's rates they will pay out once out of beta.

If they drop to adsense levels, then I see no reason whatsoever (at this juncture at least) to stay with YPN over adsense.

However, I am currently using YPN on the majority of my sites. Relevance means crap (of their ads that is) compaired to the increase in revenue I've experience with YPN. Take away the revenue though and again... adsense rules the day.

IMO YPN is more profitable than AdSense,
hopefully I can get in :)

If YPN pays more, then I'll leave Adsense ;) I think I'll give YPN a shot first and see how it goes :)

I want to ditch both of them. Feel like i'm living in Google's or Yahoo's emotional ups and downs. When sad, they smart price. When happy, they give $1/click. And when you get $1000 today and get only $50 tomorrow, you'll be wondering what trick they're playing with you, through the so-called smart-pricing.

I'm going to try direct advertising, renting banner space monthly. I figured it out that it could earn me 5x the amount Google is giving me. And that would let me live happily in nobody's emotion or threat. Hope 2checkout.com and phpadsnew will be a couple married in heaven.
