No waste here.... it is really fun and it gives you something to do.

What does it stand for? Would the .com be even worth anything?
There are plenty of good .mobi domains in the secondary market; anything available for registeration at this point is probably not worth the reg fee.

Think about it. All the good keyword .mobi domains have been gone since landrush.

 

Keywords keywords keywords, All we think of is getting a good keyword. I know it would be really nice to get a super great keyword and not have to work so hard at making you site known. BUT a keyword could be anything you make it to be.

Thinks about it. Before youtube and myspace you would have never even though about making a domain with any combination like that.

Sometimes you have to develop your own keywords...
