The Rich Pom? Can Anyone Give Me Some Feedback?

Discussion in 'Affiliate Programs' started by Burta, Feb 20, 2007.

OK I have a friend to who contacted me about a week ago (because he knew that I was involved in making a living off the net) asking if I knew any good site creation tools and I sent him a reply along with a question of why he was inquiring and he said he wanted to get into the industry.

Well anyway I got to chatting with today him and found out that he had purchased this ebook - http://www.therichpom.com - now I have done a fair bit of work with AdSense, SEO and a little bit of affiliate marketing in the past 2 - 3 years and I was just wondering if this ebook is any good, what was the general premise of it, and what suggestions it makes to it's readers. I'm only inquiring so that I can find out what my friend is dumping his money into and maybe help him better allocate his investment.

    Burta,

I always feel uneasy when so called screen shots of bank deposits are shown on a web page. This is just a in-your-face-get-rich-quick ad. Run, run away very fast.

Yeah it is a very spammish website.

Yeah I thought this might be the case.

Thanks guys for the feedback - unfortunately my friend has already purchased the ebook - and whilst I don't intend to purchase it myself, it looks like he might have been ripped off.

He came asking my advice about things and he was planning to spend a few hundred more on the programs that this guy plugs in his ebook which of course we affiliate links - with hefty affiliate returns. I have since told him to take everything in that book with a grain of salt.

After that I actually did some research into the guy because I couldn't get a response here and turns out he is being looked into by the Australian Office of Fair trading... AND there was a story on an Australian news show making him out to be a scammer:

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=VHx-ulM_hYs

Anyway, so I guess I'll just sit down with my friend and talk him through the whole "how to make money of the internet" - with hard work with a touch of working smart!

Well, for anyone in Australia, might have seen this "Rich Pom" on either Today Tonight or A Current Affair where they caught up with him & exposed that he is in fact a Poor Pom & his testimonials are fake, one was of himself giving a testimonial & another was a friend of his. Plus he drives a cheapo car as well. You can make up your own minds from this.

    Actually, you're all wrong!

I joined and have got the ebook, and it's very good. The best thing is, it works - not joking.

Everyone here knows ACA is rubbish - honestly, it's good and WORKS.

Considering you have 1 post an only joined this month I'm going to guess you are new around here so saying "it's good and WORKS!" doesn't really carry a lot of weight.

So what was the general premise of it, and what suggestions does it makes to it's readers, etc etc - and what sort of returns have you personally made.

I fail to see how they are rubbish, when they just told the story how it was. He was a guy that wasn't making thousands of $$$ like he claimed, and he was giving testimonials on his own product. If you want to conduct good business in life, whether it is offline or online, it starts with honesty and integrity - both it seems "the rich pom" lacks.

He was also on Kyle and Jackie O's breakfast radio show. Plus he had an ad on ninemsn and they cost over AU$10,000. I havn't gotten the ebook but I don't know how he could afford the ninemsn ad if he was dirt broke...

Look, I only said it was good because it is. ACA is always gutter press - I've talked to the bloke and I've made money. It WORKS. If he was skint, how could he afford Nine MSN and 2Day FM? He is very successful and his stuff works.

If you bunch of losers chose to believe me, then have fun earning zip all :)

PS - RogerWilco is right. If he was dirt broke, how could he afford all this? The guy is really good.

Here's an independent review I found:

Review - 4 month test results of TheRichPom internet business opportunity

Please note: Recently, a number of very similar looking Rich Pom "reviews" have been advertised on the web. Unfortunately, with copy n paste + few word changes here and there, plagarism is very difficult to control - one of the frustrations of being a professional internet copywriter. Please be assured this is the original review based on my real experiences using The Rich Pom product. I first published my results in December and have updated them since. My personal details are also on this site, my own business site - more than can be said for any other "reviewer".

Internet marketing and online home businesses have been booming in the US, UK and Europe for a couple of years now, and a lot of people have become very rich along the way. However, it's only just starting to take off in Australia.

Recently there has been a lot of talk about The Rich Pom an English guy who makes $95,000 a month on the internet. As far as I know, he's the only person to promote making money through an internet business via mainstream Australian media such as radio. I'm sure it won't be long now until others start doing it too.

The hardest decision when looking around at internet products and work from home opportunities is knowing which ones can really make you money, and which are scams, yesterdays news, the same old stuff other people have pumped out before, etc.

I've been buying and researching internet marketing products for a while now (not to mention 9 years working for major Australian and international e-commerce companies where I saw just about every good, bad and ugly internet get rich idea ever conceived).

Most products out there regurgitate the same information. I've purchased and tested dozens, and suffered my fair share of burns, confusion, and frustrations on the road to finding out which ones actually work.

I decided to investigate The Rich Pom internet business offer about 4 months ago. It sounded quite amazing, but don't they all?! Knowing that the business had been promoted on the number one Sydney radio program, the Kyle & Jackie O Show on 2DayFM, gave me some assurance that it was probably a kosher operation.

The information on The Rich Pom website also gave me a lot of confidence. He includes his phone number, ABN, bank details, and business address for anyone to see. As I mentioned, I've seen a lot of these products and sites over the years, but this was the first time I have seen anyone reveal this sort of personal and company information.

So The Rich Pom was running a legitimate business and I could get in contact with him if necessary. Definitely a good start. With that concern out of the way, I downloaded his book of secrets and had a read. I have to admit this was something quite different, containing loads of helpful information and ideas. One of the things he does really well is explain everything in simple language, so even a novice can follow the steps to make some serious money.

Will you be earning $95,000 a month in no time at all working from home? That might be a bit ambitious, but if you are willing to invest some time and effort, and follow the steps, there is no reason why you shouldn't be able to set up a very lucrative internet home business and see hundreds, even thousands of dollars rolling in each month.

In my first week using The Rich Pom methods I made a little over one hundred dollars - not bad considering it was more playing around and testing, but hardly a rags to riches tale.

Like any serious business I run, I decided that the only way to really see if it worked was to put some effort in. So I tried different methods suggested, replicated my successes, and asked for some advice from The Rich Pom when needed. I started to spend around two hours a day working on my internet business. As a result, my income has exploded over the past two and a half months and I've now earned just over $14,500.

While I concentrate on building my writing business, I can't tell you how great it is to have additional income arriving in my bank account almost day. With a bit of effort up front I've managed to create real passive income - exactly what I look for from an internet home business.

TheRichPom is a great product to use if you are starting an internet home business (especially now with this 60% discount). With a bit of effort it can bring you in a healthy income. Start doing it fulltime and who knows what you could make.

The real advantage of this product is that the Rich Pom is based in Australia, and you can get in touch with him for help to achieve your goals. If you are considering getting involved, do it now, as internet home business is taking off in Australia, and it won't be long before it booms as it has in the US and Europe where many people who took the opportunity early are now making ridiculuous amounts of money.

A Current Affair is a shit - everyone knows that. Another funny thing is thing - why did he sit there explain to the reporter what it was all about? Normally people run away when they have smething to hide. This guy just sat there and explained what affiliate marketing is - if everyone stops being so blind and realises he actually might be talking sense, they would go to google.com.au and type in "affiliate marketing". Hmmmm. Lots of major international companies doing it - maybe ACA are crap and this Pom is making sense?

In fact, I know he makes sense because his stuff works!

    Hello all

I too have joined and have made money. You won't make what he makes, probably because he's been doing it years, but is is right when he says "Australia is behind the times in terms of the Internet", and he stuff works.

You CAN earn money if you have a brain.

    I recommend it, no probs

Glad to hear there's some support jamesfrancis! Are you going to his support day with free booze and all the celebs there? Kyle and Jackie O are turning up and he's doing a support day thing for everyone that has joined.

In the evening, it's food and drink, all paid for. Then again it must be a scam! lol

    See you there hopefully

    Cheers

Oh well, guess it's just you and me!

Weird how two people who happen to have bought it come on at the same time and boast it with less than 10 posts each. Even if you were telling the truth I wouldn't trust you!

    lol

    Some people are so stupid.

I too have joined and I was absolutely amazed by a couple of things

    (1) His ebook is seriously well written. 70 pages and explained so that anyone can understand it

    (2) It's easy to make money using it. Yes I know about the Internet and yes I know how to earn money online, but he tell us things that are genuine and really work.

Whether you "muppets" (as he calls them on the radio) believe me, that's another thing. But it does work and I would recommend it to anyone. My sister has also joined because I said so and she too is earning money.

Maybe see Ryan and James in April to get p!ssed with him and meet the celebs!
