Hiya, There are loads of article directories out there. I would like to ask you which article directories you can recommend to submit to. As I do submit manually to a few ones atm, I'd like to increase the amount, but I'd like to have "good" ones. Btw, when thinking about submitting to "all" or less, but high quality directories considering the time it takes, would you recommend to submit to less or quality dirs? Thanks, Sunish
Hi, Sunish, Here is a great index (probably the most extensive one I've come across in the web so far ) of article directories, where you can post your works. The index includes more than a hundred of some of the most high-impact directories existing online. Hope it will be useful to you. Have an enjoyable day today
Ezine Searchwarp Articleson Goarticles Top7businessarticles (not sure if I got it right) Isnare There are actually a lot! But these are so far my favorites.
If you are manually submitting, submit to most read, ezinearticles, searchwarp, goarticles, isnare - if you want to publish them to thousands, use isnare and articlemarketer distribution services (I am not affiliated to any).
Check out about.com too. They have some stricter guidelines about submission but the link and the traffic is well worth the effort.
http://www.goarticles.com is a great article directory to submit to - I just started doing that myself in January, and my articles have already appeared on quite a few Websites.
Hi! Article directories are ok, but what do you think about article exchange? I've experienced both and I can say that article exchange is much more useful and productive. Article directories do not allow you to insert links into your article, just in your signature or so.... and I think it's a lot of work and the results can be seen only after some time... I think you should try this. I can give you more details if you want Good luck
People stay away from links in the article because it is lot of work for directory owners to scan each and every link. Links in the article also raises flags with some major search engines.
How do you submit articles to about.com? I've looked into being a guide there, but don't have the time needed to do so. is there an article submission process - I may be blind, but I don't see anything like it on their site.
Affiliate links. I am just speaking from my experience as an article directory owner. Everyday I get at least 10 articles with links in them (I am assuming these are mostly coming from some submission software). Flag - articles stuffed with keywords and links definitely raise a flag. I will come back and post the link of the fact (I can't find the link right now).
You cannot randomly submit articles to about.com. You have to be a guide otherwise, find somebody who already is a guide and ask them to write on whatever you like to be published.
If you go to your area of interest on the site and type in "submit article" in the search box you will get results about how to submit an article. Here is an example. Alternatively you can contact the guide personally. You do not want to try and submit a junky article there though. I see it as a place to submit your best articles to and to do so sparingly.
