Time is a man made thing used to put consecutive events in order. The universe has no "time" other than the one we assign to it.
I'd have to disagree with you on that chief. Time is a dimension of our universe that combines with our three spatial dimensions to form a construct known as spacetime...
Well it has been shown that this particular "abstract concept" is inextricably linked with the universe. The faster you go, the slower time runs. Proving the existence of spacetime? Not sure, but the theory that it forms part of - General Relativity - has been experimentally verified by gravitational lensing experiments. It's quite a limited view to only trust your senses. I can't see, touch, taste or smell electrons, but there is no question in my mind that they exist.
Some Sentence Atharvana Veda XIX, 53. Prayer to KalaDev (time), personified as a primordial power. 1 Time, the steed, runs with seven reins (rays), thousand-eyed, ageless, rich in seed. The seers, thinking holy thoughts, mount him, all the beings (worlds) are his wheels. With seven wheels does this Time ride, seven naves has he, immortality is his axle. He carries hither all these beings (worlds). Time, the first god, now hastens onward. More: IMO (ordinary Layman's view) Time is decided on a Planet only by the Sun., Sun is a part of Nature, God is Still above nature and so is above time
Who said you can not see electrons ? (http://electron.mit.edu/overview/) Also what if earth stops rotating around Sun. Will your time concept change ?
questioning darwinism is the funniest thing ever, and I suppose that god is just your best friend that scratches your back and reads you bed time stories. religion and god is simply part of your evolution, because everyone needs a cauase and something to live for . But in this modern time we do not need the idea of fear or god to control us and learn from. darwinism is false..........um you have a tail bone......isn't that proof enough
Contradictory statements. Touching upon this one should give pause to the question 'why?' For instance, it is common experience that all need water. It is common experience that all need food. It is common experience that "everyone needs a cauase and something to live for." There is no example of a godless race or people that I or scholars are aware of. Why?
Me Sir! Me Sir! I said that Sir! We cannot see electrons. (Even 20/20 isn't going to help you there). But we know they are there because we can observe their effects. We cannot see time. But we can observe its effect. And its effect varies depending on the speed we are going. Example: Imagine we have two twin boys born on the same day at the same time, and we send one off on a space journey at, say, two thirds of the speed of light for a few years out into the cosmos and back to Earth whilst the other stays at home. When the space traveller twin returns home, he will have aged less than his twin brother. They will no longer be the same age. Shocking, eh? Yet fascinating. Time is relative.
You mean you don't know it... It's Einstein's Special Relativity. Proven experimentally. Google it and have a read. It's fascinating.
It's been tested on a molecular level you mean (atomic clocks and such) - unless there has been something more on this since I've paid attention. No one knows what would happen to a complex organism when subjected to time dilation at light speeds. Much less, even if such speeds are attainable to make dilation noticeable.
OK, I'll accept that - clearly no-one has actually accelerated their twin brother into outer space at two thirds of the speed of light, since we can't build spaceships that fast. It's a thought experiment to underline the fundamental concepts of relativity. But the theory predict that mass - which we are made of - would "age" less at high speeds relative to a "stationary" point of reference.
You have clearly misunderstood theory of relativity. Time is a dimension because there can be difference of absoulte time between two objects ,simmilar to the three dimensional coordinate difference Assume you have infinite supply of energy and you start moving in a particular direction with light's speed and police start chasing you in the same direction with lights speed 2 hours after you have started so there will always be a time gap between you and the police (since maximum speed one can travel is that of lights speed) so your coordinate will look some thing like this (x,y,z,2) and the police's coordinate will look like (u,v,w,0)
Please point out which particular part of my description of the Twin paradox shows a misunderstanding of the theory of Relativity.
Where did I state that each twin was younger than the other, or that there was a paradox? I merely stated the space-traveller twin would be younger - which is what we find. Do you disagree with me that the travelling twin will be younger than the earth twin on his return?
