Dangg.. 2 hours spent working on my design and Photoshop decides to unexpectingly quit... Looks like I'm going to have to start from scratch since I was dumb and didn't save it at all. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to get it done tomorrow.
The way the leaf overlays the text is distracting. The two elements, leaf outline and font, are too similar and blend into each other too much making it hard to read the text.
I feel your pain, mate! My new strategy is : Draw a line...ctrl+s...remove a bit of line...ctrl+s...enter text...ctrl+s...fix typo...ctrl+s...etc. Hey, it works!
I do kinda agree with the CH, maybe a white stroke round the text would help to separate it from the leaf graphics?
Sorry for the delay today guys and gals Nine - Looks really good with the smaller leaf. How about placing the city name below next to the stem of the 'p'. and then raise the 'auto protectors' up to re-balance it. Sour - Not really what we're looking for. ramakrishna p - still prefer the bottom one from your last set. Ragav - interesting. Like the crescent. not sure about the orange for 'Protectors' but font colors can easily be changed. Istvan - Not really what we like, sorry. Thanks for your entry though. jamess - Same as comment for Istvan, above. sandeepramjie - nice but a little dull prospeareht - like the first one, but how about making the leaf straight up and down inside the diamond. Don't like the shade of red in the 2nd one. Saves Th3 Day - shield looks better with just the outline and no gold color. But over all I think we still prefer it without the shield. The crescent itself serves the purpose of signifying protection.
I got up this morning (i'm from Central Europe) and saw this post...sorry but i can't leave it like that. I've never been accused for stealing somebody's designs so please don't break my reputation. That's not fair. I'm little disappointed of you... Your charges are completely out of the blue! (if you don't know why i can explain it to you via pm). That's all i want to say.
He probably didn't mean to be harsh or anything, but they are pretty similar - obviously you haven't copied from him but they are similar. Doesn't matter at the end of the day.
