  I am having a bad day so I am going to fan out. Don't mind me. I have been trying to make money online for over 6 months now. Well, I’ve been trying to get traffic at least..... I am a full-time student, I live alone and this is my only source of income.... Ok so I’ve tried almost everything and I get like 3 uniques per day between all my sites like 15 of them. What the f****. I am spending all of my time trying to make this work and I wont stop but I am frustrated. Ok I tried everything from, Credit repair to porn to selling viagra..... AND NOTHING....What am I doing wrong??? I mean 3 uniques and it’s not that I’m in the sandbox because I learned quickly and after my first 2 sites I started buying expired domains.... My sites have page rank and everything and I got it myself..... And collectively they only get like 3 uniqes a day. Surely someone must know what I’m doing wrong....Maybe its the way I’m thinking or something I don’t know... But I watched The Secret like 800 times....
I also used XRumer but that didn’t do much.....for very long.

Here is a list of some of my sites

    www.yourbestcreditrepair.com
    www.netinfodirectory.com
    www.xm1.biz
    www.google15.com
    www.pornodise.com
    www.pornadvisor.com
    www.mmakers.org
    www.girlsx.org
    www.nick-and-nate.com

And much more... Some aren’t done but still.......
    Am I retared?

I know I can get a job but ....10 reasons why not to
    I don’t want to.

I’ve tried everything I know. Can someone please help... Or steer me in the right direction.

And its not like I don’t know what I’m doing because I have a membership to this site where I can watch all the latest seminars and all kinds of stuff about making money online... Like for example I have seen every stomper net video, a bunch of stuff from Jeff Johnson and MUCH MUCH MUCH more....

Sorry for the long frustraded post. I needed to let it all out....

I understand you. Although relying on internet as a source of income is something I would not recommend, there are a few things you could do.

First of all you need to understand that targeting popular keywords is not a good idea as they are hard to rank for. Its much easier to rank for "lower hanging fruit". To point you in the right direction I can advise you to read Chris Anderson's The Long Tail.

I have a blog about migraine treatments and when I first started it I tried to rank for migraine and had no luck, so after reading The Long Tail I understood that it would be easier to rank for migraine massage for example and that would bring a lot of targeted traffic. I currently rank #1 in MSN and #7 in Google for migraine massage and that is 2 month after understanding the Long Tail principle.

I am sure you can too rank for "lower hanging fruit", just go through your web logs and see which specific keywords your site is found for and optimize for them.

    Good Luck

I don’t mean to be confrontational but if you think that stomper alone could make you top seo, then by being top seo, why do you think that relying on internet as a source of income is a bad idea?

For starters, htp://1.sell2005.pay.clickbank.net/ is NOT your affiliate URL!!!

htp://USERNAME.WHOYOUPROMOTE.hop.clickbank.net is what Clickbank links look like! (With htp changed!)

With that many sites it might be possible that you are spreading yourself a little thin. Maybe you should consider narrowing it down to the most productive ones and concentrating on them. Just an idea.

well, assuming you are trying to earn money with your SEO, have you selected good keywords and have you been promoting for a higher ranking at SERPs?

White hat SEO takes time. Considering you have PR3 sites, you really haven't done much yet in terms of "time" you spent though you might have spent lots of your energy.

Things take time for good WH SEO.

I seriously think that instead of spending your time on 15 sites that get 3 uniques a day, you should focus your energy on to one site and aim for more than 45 uniques a day.

With a decent site, you could probably do that in a month.

I've had my main site up for two months and have received just over 10,000 hits. I've explained how I do it on my site:

    Kumiko's Cash Quest

Maybe you should check it out.

I agree with Kumiko. Narrow your focus on 2-3 sites and once those are successful, tackle more.

my tip, aim for a less competitive niche, aiming for porn, viagra and credit cards are extremely hard, I'm surprised you haven't gone for mortgages

I don't mean to sound like I'm having a go but aim for a different niche if you really want to make a living online

Haha! Sorry for being unladylike, but I can't resist suggesting that you should focus all your attention on to pornadvisor.com!

You could spend all your time watching porn and reviewing it...and it may help you "relieve" your frustration!

    Best of luck!

that. trying to do too much. when i started off with just one site, i got to 60 uniques a day in 3 months. and after that it stayed constant with NO marketing.

because any succcessful person will tell you not to put all your eggs in one basket.

    what kentuckyslone said.

if you have your own book (a product, you're way ahead than alot of other marketers out there.

that's.......an unhealthy sugggestion for a college student. :D anyway i have a friend whose name is Yumiko. :) are you a lady by any chance?

Well focus seems to be your biggest problem, instead of trying to have 50 sites work on one and make it the best possible in your niche. Once you have achieved that they you should move on to your next venture.

    As mentioned focus on:
    - less competitive keywords, key phrases
    - one or 2 sites (to start with) & keep updating & adding quality content

I don't know about kumiko83's suggestion for relieving your frustration, as it may take you away from focusing! lol

I saw a lot of porn addresses.... Being a good SEO is easy... you can buy books or join stompernet and have all your money sucked outta your pockets.

When it comes down to it a GREAT SEO knows what he should or shouldn't do.You want some good advice from an SEO guy that owns his own SEO company?

I am gonna post a new thread on the forum on how to make money with a simple site and the steps it takes. So instead of partying this weekend you can start making $$$

    I'll post a link in a sec...
