I'm watching this on Cspan. Interesting how they actually do differ. Just a few things I'm thinking:

--Dennis Kucinich is insane. He's as left as you can get and still be consider a democrat and not a socialist.

--Joseph Biden seems rather bright. Now I may not agree with everything he says, but he's one of the few that's acknowledged that a regional conflict must be prevented....and he has a plan (on federalism). Now not judging his plan (as that requires more than a simple thread),.. he's probably one of the few that has a more encompassing view on the D side. Atleast that's how I see it now.

--Mike Gravel's talking. Who is this guy!? He's a bit hysterical. I know he wants to make sense, but he needs to calm down. He's actually advertising consumption tax....and getting rid of the income tax. Interesting.

    --I missed the other...

Kucinich is a nut...he, like john edwards, just needs to give up....as far as being far to the left, you mean he is so far to the left he is almost as bad as shrillary, right? (she is a socialist)

I don't know what she is...I guess that's why she's a front-runner. She's hard to read. Not that I don't have my own beliefs on that.

No, I just missed the beginning of that show. Obama wasn't there. Hilllary was.

I agree with Rove that its way too early for these candidates. People will get tired of them before the primaries start. I think this next election will be, by far, the most expensive ever and I think they realize it and are all angling for the big donors now before they are all gone. Since dems rely on big donors far more than republicans, its almost a necessity to come out sooner rather than later.

I still think the eventual Dem nominee hasn't even declared yet. All these cats are going to peak too early, just like Dean in '04.
