The Iraq War? Well win of course... who could possibly vote lose?
We need to finish what we started - glossing over whether or not it was started for the right reasons.
Hand over power, get it stable and get the fcuk out...

to me, a die hard american, wanting the USA to lose is = to wanting terrorists to win...no thank you...if you want the USA to lose, then you are a terrorist supporter in my book, no matter who it is.

@GTech, all I want from USA is not to be two-faced about terrorism. When some terrorist group hurts USA, it's terrorism. But when PKK hurts us and USA keeps supporting them, it's called freedom fight.

its funny GTECH disses the Quran, and Muslims as the evil of the world, then in the next breath says we should invade Iraq and spend billions trying to help the people he just call incorrigible, anything to keep the war machine going I guess

That didn't answer the questions I presented.

As far as the kurds are concerned, we're not there to favor any particular faction or group. We're not fighting Shi'a, Sunni, Kurds, we're fighting a group led by al qaida that wants to rule EVERYONE in Iraq in the extremist manner you claimed to be against.

If you are interested, revisit my post. If you are now saying that after reading reasonable arguments by participating members that you no longer wish al qaida to win in Iraq, then I welcome those sentiments.

It's funny that you twist and distort what I said so far out of it's original context, that it no longer represents what I said.

Try and keep up ferret and for once, try to be honest. I said there is nothing peaceful about islam. I stand by that. I welcome anyone to cite where islam has brought peace. I welcome anyone to explain away verses from the quran that call for the deaths of non-believers, verses that tell muslims not to befriend Christians and Jews, verses that refer to Christians and Jews as pigs and apes.

I also said there were many peaceful muslims around the world, despite this. Fortunately for the world, not all muslims adhere to their prophet's teachings.

Next, I've never claimed muslims were the evil of the world at all. In fact, I find it ironic that you personally have stated that you don't care about Iraqis and were just fine with them being taken over by al qaida. Yet when convenient, you pretend to take the high moral ground here. I find it strange that AGS threw a fit last week over his country detaining muslims that were planning to kidnap and decapitate ANOTHER muslim that was a soldier in the British Army. I had to remind AGS that the muslim soldier was the victim.

Maybe for once, you should actually read. I make things pretty clear and always stand behind what I say. Perhaps you could take issue, for once, with what I actually say, rather than composing a post filled with falsehoods in an attempt to put me on the defensive for that which I have not stated.

Would you not ask the same of me?

Obviously the one that said islam is not peaceful.

Islam does not mean peace, it means submit. If you wish to turn the thread that direction, imposter, I'm sure you'll find more than an adequate challenge before you.

The ball is in your court, let me know what you decide.

That was too stupid even for you. Are you claiming that Al sadar and Shia groups are led by Al qaida and in the mean time they are just killing each other for fun of it?

How about if there are groups that disagree with occupation of their country by another country and they are fighting for pure nationalistic reason, will you support them since they are not led by AL qaida or do you think it is only Americans who have the right to be patriotic?

I don't know gworld, you might want to re-evaluate that "stupid" comment. Did you see anywhere where I said such? If not, why would need to ask such a question?

By fighting, you mean those that set out every day to willfully blow up Iraqis in the name of their God? Aren't those the type of people you support? Apparently you don't support the peaceful Iraqis that just want to get on with their lives, but can't, because your buddies are out there blowing them up every day.

Yet never a bad word for a terrorist.

So you are saying your honorable President is wrong about Islam, then? He made that statement.

You say there is nothing peaceful about Islam. If I can find a single statement in the Qu'aran that advocates peace, will you retract that statement (or at least modify it to something less fundamentalist?)

What Iraq War? This is a War against Terrorism... nothing else. Regardless, I agree that we need to close up there - properly - then pull out and keep fighting them elsewhere... once it's stable there, of course.

Because you claimed that USA is fighting Al qaida led groups while it is clear that USA is fighting Al qaida, Shia groups and most likely some nationalistic groups. ;)

It seems the only ones who like USA are the Kurds that until couple of years ago were considered terrorists both by USA, and it's allay Turkey, still considers them terrorists. ;)

Absolutely! I've contended this several times. Liberals often, mistakenly claim that Bush lied. And when confronted, they claim it's about WMD and Iraq. But that's not true. It's actually the liberals lying at this point, because their integrity doesn't matter, only their message.

Bush has said numerous times that islam is about peace and tolerance. I've always contended it was a lie. But in a twisted sort of way, we know why he says such too. So as not to give the impression that the US is at war with islam or to upset muslims in this country.

Will you be quoting an abrogated verse? Probably not from sura 9. By all means, if you want to take the thread in that direction, be my guest. You won't be the first and you won't be the last. Just know that I'm not your ordinary kuffar.

And that claim is correct. I can't help you with your anger, but if you wish to dispute that your buds (al qaida) are not in Iraq, I welcome that new level of dishonesty ;)

I already told you that this question cannot be simplify as you wish it to be. That is why it's moronic.

Are you ignorant or have you forgotten what we talked about already?
