Website Submitter - new directory submitter software

I do not remember the PM but let me respond, maybe the bellow response will be what you were asking for.

Regarding the Website Submitter and report are 2 things I can talk about it. I am not sure about which one you refer so I will write about both

1. In the submission process you have an option REPORT if you want to report the directory as bad or broken

2. Also if you ask me about reporting, yes we have implemented the reporting format in HTML, PDF or printed ( see the attachment ).

Hi .... I bought your software a while back and like it.. BUT its
just so slow. I can submit faster manually that working with this software

Plus ... I must keep on choosing the catagorie for my site even
if i allready set it up on the profile ... why ?

This is not a fold on my side with a slow internet connection

Is this a commen problem ? and how can i speed the submitting up?

 

I have an entire list of such problems, I am also a customer, satisfied, yes, but the submission process is very very slow. Hopefully I will start working soon with mmariusel on the improvement of this software as I already had talks with him regarding helping him out to make the tool better.

You can be sure that everything will be rock solid when I am done with suggesting all my thoughts and concerns, soon, very soon.

The application is checking every field when browsing. We have for this a solution and we plan a speed up with a different approach in the next versions.

We have the following milestones for the next versions lined up:
version 1.4 - user customized directories (user can add his own directories and managed them)
version 1.5 - complete browsing experience changed (5 times fater the browsing as our test shows)

This is depending on the directories. You must choose a general category because each directory has his own category listing. Is not applications fault, is just all directories are different. Website Submitter is one application that offers category automatic selection, our concurrent softwares does not even bother with this functionality.

We plan in 1.4 a lot of improvement and in 1.5 we plan on complete change of browsing technologies. All updates to these versions are free for actual customers.

 

Well done on this thread mmariusel it definately seems like theres a market for this type of product and your obviously also taking the time to resolve everyones issues on the forum - a very time draining task im sure. Best of luck with the new builds of your software...

Yes being able to add your own directories would be great. Also speeding it up a little would be significant.

I would also like to see an option where not only do you select directory type but directory PR within that group of directories.

I would also like to see weekly directory lists. I can't remember the last time the list was updated but it has been a while. To better explain I see a report this directory button at the top of the software. I like to submit to free directories yet I still see paid directories in that list. Over time the list is not as accurate. I know it's impossible to get a 100% accurate list! If you could have a database that say you get 3 or 4 reports from different IP's that would be enough to verify that the listing is not accurate and should be enough to change the listing status of that directory.

Anyhow just a few ideas. Thanks for listening and making a customer driven product!

 

I'm trying the demo now.

Just so you know, if you click the "create profile" without entering text, you get a prompt that doesn't say anything, just has an OK button. To avoid confusion, you should label the input field next to the "create profile" button so people know that the text field is for the profile name

Should keywords be separated by spaces or commas? or, does it even matter?

update - I really like your software!! good job. I'm going to recommend the company I work for purchase a copy.

 

That has been already reported and is out of the next version.

The first option will be in version 1.4 and the second in 1.5.

This can be done easy, I will see to have it in release 1.4

We have the list created and cleaned but we would like to have it in 1.4 as we changed a little the format. If we launch it now we will do 2 times the effort. In the waiting list we have now 3000 directories, to check them and then to have them in the DB. We have at this point 2 new persons that will help on this work.

No problem, for me the feedback is the way I establish the milestones for the next versions. You just have to told me what you want, I will sort the request and see to exist in the next versions.

how about a list of spanish directories?

 

We have a list prepared for spanish and french directories. These will come in version 1.4 in the application. We have at the moment also 100 german directories inserted and 80 romanian directories.

 

I am considering purchasing 3 pack. Just have one question.
If I understand correctly the directories and article sites list upgraded periodically.
What about software’s itself upgrades, are they free?

All updates for software and directories updates are free for 2 years. Let me know if you need more information.
