How to remove a anti website from google search engine?

I want to remove a site from serch engine or want to report about that site becoz site is using some wrong words about our compnay.

Can u tell me the best way to reomve that site from google serach engine???

 

I am not sure if you can do that unless you bring a court order or something. There are so many websites of such nature on the internet (i.e. paypalsucks.com) and they have been online since forever.

 

Any right or illegal way to remove that site??

There is no way to removed that site. Only thing you can to is either outrank them or talk to them

I think the bases of the internet kinda does not cover you; The internet gives them freedom of speech, so if they do not like you...there is little you can do

Can I report to google about the abusive language used on that site about particular company?

well you could get a lawyer to write up a big 50 page lawsuit notice to try and scare them into shutting down or maybe try doing something with a lawyer so you can get it removed via a DMCA complain. Either way it won't be cheap.

 

Contact the owner of the site and talk to him ....

 

See if the site is using any blackhat/spammy SEO techniques, and if they are, report them at http://www.google.com/contact/spamreport.html . Make sure you are very certain they're doing something wrong though.

Otherwise, no there is no way you can make google remove them. Even if it becomes a legal matter (e.g. copyright infringement, libel) you can only sue/warn their ISP into removing the site from their own servers directly, and google will eventually catch up. If google started dealing with content they'd probably finish sometime briefly before the sun goes supernova.

 

sorry there is nothing you can do....that is the nature of the internet free speech.....if you were able to remove this site...what would stop someone from removing your site?

 

Sam, Google operates in the United States, where freedom of speech is embraced. If you feel the site is being slanderous, the only way to have the information removed is through a lawsuit.

 

You can try with google spam report, but it doent seem to work much... Does someone has managed to really remove a site using it?

Yes, I reported one site and it was removed for 2 weeks. They removed all the spam from their pages and they are back in ranking now. I've read somewhere that Google informs the site owner that there is a complain against their site because of so and so reason and also sends them a link to request the re-inclusion after they have cleared the spam.

don't encourage people to misuse the spam report, it should be used for search engine spam only, not for people trying to mess their competitors or opponents
