Registerfly is worst comapny I've seen. I made mistake of using them. Nothing but trouble on over 99% of these domains. I believe any other register is better. Anyone who tells you Registerfly is OK, is a total fool.
I've started receiving automated "Your domain expires in 60 days" notifications from Registerfly. Has anyone been able to transfer a domain away from RF lately?
I have not been able to transfer from regfly to godaddy and unable to change server names in regfly. My ticket link is not working neither (self refresh)
Where did you get the key? Can you explain? I was emailing support to get it, but they ignore me all the time.
>Login to your RegisterFly account. >Click on the number of your "Total Domains" >Click on the domain for which the authorization code is required. >Now click on the '+' sign next to "Domain Contact Information" >Click on "configure" >Now scroll down and you will find the authorization code all the way at the bottom. Great RF gripe site: http://registerflies.com/
I've received eNom email too, I think the domains wich were in period of (when registerfly was reseller of eNom) have a control panel in enom now. I have some domains. now registerfly is a registrar...but with a very bad support! these days it got a problem till now! I heard of chaning CEO
I've got a few domains with registerfly, I just found out about them and Enom today. I've been trying to transfer to Namecheap, but I got a email from Namecheap saying the domain has registrar lock. Does anyone know how I can transfer my domain, its my main one as well :/ In my control panel, it says it is unlocked, but a whois says otherwise. >.< How can we move to enom? I didnt get an email from them.
Just saw this special offer on RegisterFlies.com: http://registerflies.com/mydomain.com-offer-to-registerflies.html MyDomain is offering $5 transfers for people leaving RegisterFly.
Hmm this is a bit crazy? I heard nothing. And the websiet works for me? Have to investigate Jay (new kid)
There is an interesting posting by the new owner President/CEO of Registerfly on Registerflies.com...he seems to accuse previous CEO Kevin Medina of criminal acts and pledges to make things right. There is even a scan of Mr. Medina's termination letter. We at Registerfly.Com would like to offer our sincere apologies to all that have been affected by the actions of our former CEO / President, Kevin Medina. We cannot change the past but will make every effort to change the future of RegisterFly.com. As a result of Mr. Medina's actions many of you have lost your domains, experienced problems with your Hosting, Renewals and Registrations. For this reason Mr. Medina's our "Board of Directors" had no recourse but to take action against Mr. Medina and fire him. Law suits against Mr. Medina have also been filed in Federal Court for his actions as well as criminal charges. Copies of Mr. Medina's Termination Letter, Board of Directors Resolution and Court Filings can be seen on Registerflies.com. We will continue to provide all court documents and post updates on Registerflies.com as well. Currently we can not provide any information on the criminal charges as it is an on going investigation yet we will provide that data once we are told we are allowed to by law enforcement.... I hope the good words are followed by effective actions.
dotster.com also gives you transfer from registerfly for $5, thats very good. mydomain.com is a reseller for dotster. Enter the coupon code, " registerflies " in the coupon code field.
My last post showed problem to change name servers on RF. Yesterday I could do the change with no problem. Another problem though is to login. It seems there ia a certificate problem for the https. I can go through though, no big deal. I still have several domain there and still thinking what to do...
4 years ago I tried to buy a domain name with them. I have paid for it. However they couldnt register the domain so I ask for a refund. I emailed them 1.000 times and I got an answer that didnt really help me. So I asked them for more information. I havent got any reply from them until today.
I thought the same thing until I read that article on RegisterFlies, but it sounds like MyDomain is an accredited registrar that was bought by Dotster a couple years ago. I don't think they're technically a Dotster reseller. One way or the other I've been using them for a little while and they've been great, and their prices beat NameCheap.
