Anyone know why i'm am getting nothing for meh clicks? Or is it just my niche sucks? I have a Full Metal Alchemist site with all the episodes on it, the other day i got 3 cents for a click which was also my first earnings ^^ but sux now that i'm earning nothing for each click, had 9 clicks the other day and nothing... I get about 100 hits per day on average, my site doesn't have to much content i have to admit, it's mainly got links to google video. Do you think earnings would increase if i added a review to each episode and some more content in general or will that just get meh a better search engine ranking when i finally get indexed... I have been reading these forums and learned a lot already, nice work guys and thanks for enlightening the likes of meh
9 clicks on 151 impressions is a very high CTR, probably caused by invalid clicks. Google notices them and then doesn't pay for them.
Actually, not all. Someone might have repeatedly clicked on your ads.. thats why they werent counted for.
Not at all. It would be a CTR of 6% which is not high at all. I have a few pages that get double digit CTRs and are fine.
exactly, i've had a CTR over 100% once or twice even .This was on a site with little to no traffic, so if 1 comes in and clicks an ad or link unit, my CTR goes through the roof. Contacted Google about it, and never had any problems...
Regarding your question about content..yeah, you should try to have as much content as possible as that what keeps the visitors coming back and wanting more. Plus it certainly doesn't hurt the activity from the web spiders looking for the juicy bits to place your site into search engines ready for the web to come see what you have to offer! Content (meaningful content, that is) is always a good thing to have on a website
I have the same problem, not with adsense for contenty but with adsense referrals, when ever someone downloads firefox i get the click but not get paid for it! Dont know why!
Personally, I would hassle Google over that and question why that is the case (for both things). The contract agrees to pay you for having their stuff on there on a performance (click) basis. I guess clicks that cost them nothing are very good for business. Niche market or not, you should get something I think, unless the clicks are invalid of course
they need to download and install the software, for one just because someone clicks a referral doesn't mean payment.
As long as your clicks aren't invalid, Google doesn't not pay you for them. Even if your CTR was 100% (for example) and they were all valid clicks, you'd get paid for them.
I just don't understand why if someone was visiting my site and he decided to click on 3 ads... Google will count the first click.. and then the rest is invalid. The point is that he clicked on them 3 cuz the was interested in all 3 ads..
I don't think that it would count them as invalid, I've seen multiple clicks (maybe not from the same user, I don't know.) in a short space on my sites and they are always counted and paid for.
No, they don't pay for those. Those are just there if you want them to be but you can replace them with alternative advertisements through the Adsense control panel if you don't want to display them at all from another advertiser (or to advertise another website or page within the same website of yours). The option exists also just to fill the space with a blank colour as well instead of displaying these ads. However, I'm not sure that they are even counted in the click count displayed on google adsense, maybe someone else can shed some light on that if they know! If not, then these clicks not being paid for makes no sense to me I guess.
Not really sometimes they just don't pay their robots are programmed like that. If a person clicks on a google AD and leaves the site the ad brought them To, in a very short time , you do not get any moneys. Sometimes i get one click $1.20 sometimes i get 10 clicks $0.55, and really a lot of people have been banned for reasons like that, so it might be invalid clicks or your niche is no good and people gte redirected to the wrong sites. You cant have a hip hop web site but your google ads are about Lemon Law in california which is preety high paid word
