Hey there. I have an MP3 sound clip. Its sound quality is 320 KBPS, and thats why its something around 2.5 MB, but I want to put the size down to <100 KB, so how do I do it? IT
you could try using something from these guys, I have never used it myself though. http://www.micocosoft.com/
use any audio and video cutter and specify lower quality ... i know one software known as VCD cutter ... but its been some time now i had used it so i am not sure whether its freely available over internet
Burn the MP3 to a disk. Use a free program such as musicmatch to extract and compress the CD to an mp3. I think windows media player might also be able to do that all..
i guess u cant convert ur sound clip below 100 kb even if u compress it to 16 kbps.!!!.. it depends on length actually if ur sound clip is of 30-60 sec. ders a ringtone converter software..use it PM me uf u need d software
Since there were no vocals in the sound clip, I managed to bring it down to like 32 kbps with little to no quality loss. The size is 175 KB though, I'm looking to either put the bitrate even lower through another program or cut the sound clip through some software so that its size decreases. IT EDIT: Thanks for referring me to Audacity DXL! It helped me cut a chunk off the file and put the bitrate down to 16 kbps, no real quality loss and its just 64 KB now! Thanks again.
