Yea, after comparing the three next gen consoles, i found a deal on the XBOX 360... $390USD for premium with extra controller, intercooler, charge and play, Gears of War, Project Gotham Racing 3 and the headset.

Now i need help deciding which TV should i buy, a CRT HDTV? or a LCD HDTV?

    I can get a 30" CRT HDTV with 540P/1080i for about $275USD, 32" LCD TV for $580USD or a 37" LCD TV for $730USD...

**AHH, wrong place, can someone move to "entertainments"

It depends on how much you want to spend. If you just want something that will display your games in high definition but you are on a budget go for the CRT but a 42" 1080p LCD would be mega ballin' :)

Before even buying the Tv make sure you have the proper cabling and the
    TV has HDMI inputs.

If this is set is only to be used for the 360 system it may be more cost-effective to get a CRT set. If you are a hardcore gamer why bother with having to worry about bulbs and extra maintenance worries of an LCD.

Buy the LCD as they told you... the CRT is outdated even if it's HDTV..
Yes it might have a bit better picture but sooner or later you get very bored with it.
