BBC: Blair to announce troop pullout from Iraq
At least 1,500 to return home within the next several weeks, report says
LONDON - Prime Minister Tony Blair will announce Wednesday a timetable for the withdrawal of British troops from Iraq, with 1,500 to return home in several weeks, the BBC reported.

Blair will also tell the House of Commons during his regular weekly appearance before it that a total of about 3,000 British soldiers will have left southern Iraq by the end of 2007, if the security there is sufficient, the British Broadcasting Corp. said, quoting government officials who weren't further identified.

It seem Bush is becoming too much of political liability and even Blair is dumping him. Is anyone out there still supports Bush?

    It's cobblers mate.

I remember that bastard Blair saying (with reference to the smoking ban) that he would support a partial ban.
What happened there? We got a full ban. :(

I don't trust that fuck as far as I could throw him.

I bet zarqawi would disagree ;)

You support who and what you support. I don't support terrorists taking over in Iraq. There are quite a few here that do, though.

Alert- Mad dog barking his usual nonsense. Bush and his disastrous policies are becoming more and more of a political liability for any world leader that supports him, in the same way that he has become a liability for Republican party in USA. ;)

did you know that british forces have only had 6 deaths this year? The provinces they were protecting has gotten more support from the Iraq troops, and the british have been able to step back....also, if you really read the article, you would know that this is a planned withdrawel in the next two years...its not happening tomorrow as AGS and Gworld would have you believe.

Exactly Blair is a liar and is not consistent with his policies or actions

In fact he is a political lunatic lost in his own hubris, desperately trying to keep hold of No 10 Downing Street

Alert- Mad dog barking. Do you have anything remotely relevant to this discussion to say? For example, why in your opinion Blair is dumping Bush or if you don't think so, try to explain why.

It was pretty poor GTech you didn't even comment on what you thought about the initial post by gworld.

But you still managed to add 6 useless posts (so far, I'm expecting more) to your post count.

    Good work mate! :D :D :D
