A tip for you. The 1st pr 7 is no good, it does not pass any of its pr weight.

I have not only checked yours--I checked many others:D So .......

Well --I understand you are putting lots of efforts and getting lots of quality links. I know people don't care about predictions too--but it gives something to talk about:D and also indication of how effective your backlinks are for your side.

@nks--PR is important for directory owners. And Google's SERPs is still dependent on the amount of quality backlinks you have from related sites.
If you have time please read this report

    http://www.seroundtable.com/archives/007336.html

It seems lots of SEO expert and gurus downplay PR--but as that report suggest PR is going to stay and be most important determinant factory for SERPs --along with content relevancy. Also Google's webmaster guide lines clearly states what makes a site good in the eye of Google---

It says Content relevancy on the page and site reputation(PR). I just don't believe those SEO experts who rubbishes PR--

Agreed with you on both counts. Its great fun and I personally enjoy it everyday--most of the time checking different sites and getting different results with each check:D

On a serious basis--- there is a logic for the predictions not comimng true.

These FUN tools as you mention--give you PR of your backlink power at that exact moment. And as we know backlinks come and go -- ( I know someone got mad after he lost 53 backlinks out of 83 within 12 hrs:eek: )-and along with that your PR value also dances to the tune of BL- so PR prediction can never be accurate.
    Atleast thats my personal theory.

I'm amazed at the fascination, as well as those that use this metric for marketing their own sites/links.

 I don't believe I suggested that anyone was doing any marketing here? I only mentioned that it's a metric well used by some when peddling links.

I think G should provide such a tool. Who knows they may do it in the future. I think they want lots of attention from webmasters.
