    Hi
How much do you think a link costs in a directory with:

    PR 0
    PR 1
    PR 2
    [..]

    ando so on.

    I lauched a PR 2 and PR 3 directories at $2 and $5 but i had none submission :(

How old are they? Did the PR develop naturally or you're using some unused old domain or expired ones with PR ? Do you build backlinks ?

They were directories, but with my own script. I preferred to delete everything (it was a free directory), and install phpLD to get some money - at least to pay the domains for more 1 year.

Thats what is hurting. Paid directory with no links does not attract buyers!
Give some links for free at start...give some time and have atleast 25 links in the directories.

Sell text links on the directories (footers/sitewides) now to pay for the domains...dont hurry, it'd only spoil things.

Is that Mars Directory new or you acquired it. As I remember I have a link on the full Planet Directory about 2 years ago. Frum Mercury to Pluto that includes Sun and Moon Directory.

Or is it a different one.

So by dumping listings like those here and here, you were hoping it would encourage me to now pay for inclusion?

thats why I deleted everything and started again. Maybe now with a $1 tax it'll be better. (and paypal fee for $1 is $0.34, so my gain is not that much).

Lucas if you deleted the past links that's not a good thing to do ... in my opinion ...

i need to do, i had my own script, now its phpLD. and the old links were added for free, not paid. I know, if someone paid for a listing, i wouldn't delete it until expire...

    I think PR0 is for only $1

    and PR2,PR3,PR1

can also follow the same suit

but only directories with PR4 and greater can charge more

    So true, well played CReed!

Yah, it was a bad idea to kill all the existing links (content/content pages) - now the search engines will see you have a pile of dead links associated to your domain.
