$50 Logo Contest - Easy

Discussion in 'Design Contests' started by Dejavu, Feb 20, 2007.

    Hello

I need a logo created for my site,
    ReverseLinks

The site will be a site to purchase backlinks, but with some unique twists.

The size is around 220x60, but it does not have to be exact.

I will need the psd file if you used photoshop, and full rights to the design.

I have an initial site design, so you can look at the colors/design to make sure the logo fits with the design. (white background) (see attachment)

    Thanks.

andrej, it does not really matter but I think its best if you post the entries in this thread.

AddictedtoFate - that image looks a bit too busy, and the lighting effect also doesnt seem just right

Skinny - It's decent but maybe too plain. also the image quality is a bit low, makes it more difficult to judge

ramakrishna p(pm) - Looks good, especially the first image. I'd say that is the best option so far

andrej (pm) - Too simple, and the .com does not really seem to fit.

thanks for the entries so far.

Thanks for the entries so far, I think I'l be able to use one of these.

I'm going to test out some of the logos on my actual design to see how it fits, and I'l try and pick one within the next day or so.

ps. why do some of you feel the need to watermark the images? it just makes it more difficult to actually try out the image, and I dont really think there is any risk that someone might steal your creation. (Is there?)

It happens more often than you think.

I've had a number of clients steal full templates i've shown them, after i stupidly trusted them. They will stop replying to emails, IMs etc. and then you notice they have used the template without paying a bean. It's just a standard procedure in the design business to protect our asses. The watermark should be faint enough to not affect how it looks but obvious enough to be able to tell it's that designer's work.
